The Premade Issue...

PGI address this, patch away this (one organized group can comprise 50% of a public team) nonsense.
The pub farmers flame/ignore arguments/fail to address points/ and generally do or say whatever they can to keep the lie going. Farming premades, has become by and large a huge part of MWO and the mwo community.
There are alot of gamers out there, alot of bucks to be made. Some will be willing to integrate into the ts3 world, and like the game.... but a great many will not. Widen the net, catch more players. I dont want to "randomly" run into the same people frequently.
Pubs want a fair game.
.....
and don't even tell me to come on some random ts to meet a bunch of random pubs, to find ones i can stand, then teach them to play, then organize a time we can all be on... etc......... etc...... etc.
Aint nobody got time for that.

Facepalm. Reading comprehension kids. This does not have to do with how experienced players perform in pub matches, I, and I am sure most of you on these forums, do pretty decent in pubs. Were not new. Also the argument is not, pubs could do well, bc they have all the same equipment available. Lets give some m16s and walkie talkies to some soldiers, then some to some chimps. Presumably, the soldiers would win.
The chimps with m16s, is your new mwo player, with 3 other new mwo players, versus a veteran premade. Both are using ts.
The point is, if u managed to read this far, that this problem is inbedded in the community at this point, and it relates to community size/long-term success of the game.

Six, you have massive misconceptions about how the TS PUG system works. Either give it a go so you can actually make educated statements about it or stop spreading the same falsehoods we have been hearing since closed beta that puts other people off.
Expected future features like ELO Matchmaking will solve a lot of the issues, integrated VOIP and lobby will solve more. I have been playing lone-wolf mostly since Xmas, I'm still getting a good KDR/WLR and have came to the realisation that a new player stands as much chance of beating a four man team as they do beating a solo experienced player, that is to say, slim to none. Poor trail mechs are a far bigger obstacle to new players than 'premades' when I can fight toe to toe in my Centurion against a trail assault, kill him, then move onto the next, coupled with the players inexperience does make an actual problem that is statistically more likely to occur than facing a four man.

If pug teams had a viable command interface that could emulate the info being shared on comms, even a little bit, It would help pug teams greatly.
ID targets, audio cues from commander via a drop list etc"target alpha"
increase time chat stays on screen<commander chat stays on screen a long time>
We have all been screaming about pugs and premades and comms and teamwork, but have all neglected the fact that the in game methodology of command and comms is inadequate at best.
We should be able to do something like" request assistance g5" via a keypres that is expressed as audio speech .
and btw, I dont do premades, because its boring. I never lost one match and thats just with random dudes .. The idea is to make the game competitive for all whether you are on comms or not.
How nice it would be if random guys on Ts only won 60% of the time vs random guys in game instead of 90+ %
In game coms need to at least TRY to emulate the tactics that get conveyed via voice coms. . It seems some pugs are getting better at chat, but even chat is fubar with how fast its off screen.
voice coms are always gonna be OP , the question is whether or not PGI can make an in game com system that can at least try to compete.

Actually that is exclusively how I play, 4 man Pug groups on the NA comstar TS, I rarely play with the same people very often and never the same groups. The banter of teamspeak is part of what makes the game so fun for me.

one premade on each side...both win?
honestly, i pug alot in the last few weeks...1st meeting people i met in a match before happens...let´s say close to never...2nd my win/loss ratio is still in the positives, even if i don´t win every match...
at least i try to support my team as good as possible, even if there are people who run around a little clueless... you can always try to help them get through with it...will not always work, but can work wonders...better than let them down frustrated about their "puggy stupidness"...
sure i die more often in a pug match than in premades, but i die with a purpose and not rarely it makes a difference to throw in all i have...
and a simple "Guys, they are all on the left side" also works wonders sometimes...

No, that's when you have fun fights, often down to the last two mechs.
How hard is it for people to get on to a FREE TeamSpeak server hosted exclusively for MWO? It's there so you can coodinate with other people looking for PUGS.

The last weeks it kinda feels like the matchmaker like to put all the pugs on one team against 1-2 premades on the other. This is very easy to notice because the pug team often have zero ecm while the premade team got several to lots.
Game got a fun core but today's patch better fix the matchmaking.
The sad thing is that even with the matchmaker fixed there is lots of other problems in que.
Right now I fear that they are not focusing on all those problems but rather on 3'rd person view. Kinda stinks.

i don´t think that is true... in fact i believe even more pugs run ECM DDC´s and ravens because they think they have to...
and i believe they are working on the match maker part 3, 3rd person is only "under investigation"
