Is this poor mech dead, never to return to us?

I really miss playing it from Closed Beta, and it got taken out as soon as the Wang was introduced. Can you please bring it back, considering it's a canon variant that should, for all intents and purposes, be in this game and indeed has already been put in the game? I own a Wang and a AL, but I just can't find builds I like for the A or D variants. I'd love to use the AH to get my basics, but alas.

its different enough from the Wang with that missile hard point. and at this point. having it back in the game wont reduce wang sales. people who will buy the wang have already.

people who havent wont.

besides the wang is a really bad mech.

If it had hatchet like it is supposed to, it would be devastating at close range.

Technically the version we have should have a claw, not a hatchet, and perhaps 2 additional energy hardpoints on the left arm.

Since the whole game is close range that would make it extremely OP and p2w because only the yen low would have a hatchet.

PGI, please bring back the cent AH

I love the AH.

I doubt PGI will bring it back though.

Sad, because the AH was unique. No other mech in the game had a solely Ballistic/Missile combination.

Yeah, twin SRMs + AC20 would be awesome. I love my Wang just like I love my 4G Hunchback. I'm just sad they pulled it out for no real reason.

I have a huge hatred for completely ammo dependent mechs. I've seen far too many matches last because a mech ran out of ammo and had no back up weapons to ever want another completely ammo dependent mech in the game.

Variety is good. Yen is no longer the only hero mech. The assets are in the game. I think it is time to quietly bring back the centurion AH.

The AH was an abomination, one of the worst hard point setups I've seen to date. Having been forced to use it in order to master the Centurion, I'm very glad it no longer exists. Terrible, horrendous mech.

Note: I am in no way hinting that the YLW is better. They are both literally garbage.

I'm a sucker for the AC20. Always have been. Once you get used to it, everything else feels like a pea shooter.

The AH yes.

Played it until the YLW came. It neither is/was an abomination, nor is it OP. Guess, since it was their first attempt with Hero Mechs, they were probably uncertain, whether anyone would bother buying it or not - and took some precaution, taking the AH out.

As OP stated, we all have our YLW now, so please PGI, bring the AH back.

Nothing beats AC20, manoeuvrability and speed.
Love the YLW but the Centurion series feels incomplete now.

Well, it would open the door for the Axman, Hatchetman and later that Clanbuster Black Knight.

The AH was horrible, in my opinion. While I can see the attraction of having the mech back, I don't see the need for it. It was a test bed for the Wang, and doesn't need to come back.

If you are struggling with the A try 3 x SRM6 and a pair of MLs pls max armor and engine. D is similar, a pair of MPLs and 2 x ASRM 6, mar armor and an XL300 for great speed.

Nostalgia can be great, but I really don't think an AH can compete properly due to its ammo dependency. The AC 20 is great, but keep it special for the Wang...

The CN9-AH was my favorite 'mech in CB. I never understood why it was removed. :P

I never really got why it is so important to have a Cent that holds a AC/20. Heck even my YLW have it stripped and replaced with something more useful

Because apart from the AC/20 there is nothing you can not do with the -AH that the other models can not do better. But if you like to roll with a mech that is completely dependent on ammo who am i to stop you.

I will never get my head around the idea my self.

I loved my AH.

Called it the "Brutus" and, appropriately, used it as a backstabber.

SSRMs and AC/20. Could go head to head with both of the heavy 'mechs back then, and utterly destroyed anything its own size or less. Sure, you ran out of ammo sometimes, but until then, it was glorious.

And, mind you, almost no role overlap with the YLW. Remember, the AH was the only un-zombie-able CN9.

An AC/20 and SRM's? It was a brutish, thuggish un-refined Centurion and I absolutely loved it. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if you brought it back.
