Wait and see honestly makes no sense, since you could be improving your mech roster now with premium time. People bought into the Closed Beta knowing the product was unfinished, and that the future was unknown. That's why we have Founder's tags, because we were willing to take the risk. Refunds were offered during closed beta, and as a Founder, this shouldn't be anything new. Unfortunately, it is not up to the individual customer to decide what direction they think the game should go, so understanding it's a beta, they should consider Founder's as an investment into a potential future and enjoy what they've got.

So, nothing, they can't claim that the game is playable. I'd be fine if it went off how much time I actually played, but it counts down regardless of if I play or not and this game with its bugs and real bad balance is not playable.

No one can take you seriously as long as you are claiming a game we are all playing is unplayable. You are wrong.

Alright, you want that reset? Give all your mechs and CBills back, too.

Screw off with all this "unplayable" garbage. This is a beta. It's not a finished game. There are issues. They are working on them. BE PATIENT! Just because you spent money doesn't make you entitled to ****. You helped crowdfund their game. You're an investor. You didn't purchase a product, you continued an unfinished product's development. It's still under development. Don't like your stats? Work hard and change them. Now quit your crying.

Speak for yourself. My premium time button sits, patiently awaiting the introduction of CW for it's activation. :P

Funny how it works. In a regular MMO. Pay to play. Beta is free and not an option to pay. F2P games are in Beta can still take funds. I think there should be a rule. Only way to take funds is on a released game. I know its our fault to. I did hit activate. I just see more and more F2P games taking advantage of giving the excuse sorry its in beta but are willing to take funds. Some of them being in beta for more then 2 years. Find it really odd. With the netcode issue. They add more light mechs and the next hero mech is a light. Besides being non ECM and no missle points. PGI seems to be slipping.

my only question on the "wait and see" use of premium time... if you keep waiting, and keep seeing the game go a direction you don't like... what good does "saving" your Premium time do?

None. None at all.

The risk I took by funding this project "site unseen." And the risk I continue to take by not activating my premium time.

No. I didn't click a damn thing. It activated itself, irrespective of what PGI said.

3rd person who can't read! Where do you see me say reset MC? I said STATS AND PREMIUM TIME!!!

So you want to KEEP the mechs and parts that you bought with the extra C-Bills your premium time got you, and you want to KEEP the extra experience premium time gets you... AND you want all your premium time back? And you don't see why that's completely ridiculous?

Agree with this guy and all the others, no one held a gun to your head and told you to activate your founders premium. As for stats, sure, don't really care, all they are good for is stroking the e peen.

The onus to prove that lies on you, as not one single other person has made that claim. If that were a bug, you can almost be assured more than zero other people would have mentioned it, and raised hell on the forums when PGI denied it.

I'm not saying you are wrong, or that you are a liar; I am saying that you seem to be alone in your experience with your Premium Time "activating itself."

I totally get some folks plan to wait til community warfare to use it, and such, but so many of the wait and see crowd seem to be wait and see if the game tanks.. at which point you still will get no refund AND have unused premium time? Doesn't seem like sound logic to me (but hey, ain't my premium time, so ain't my decision), but it is also quite likely I am missing something form the equation?

Well, if I dont use the premium time, and the game continues to go in a really horrible direction or even dies I will be on better grounds for a lawsuit against the company, and they have no way to say "Well if the game experience was so horrible, or if we bait and switched why did you feel the game was good enough to use the time we gave you?"

Well, the only MC I have spent, is getting the Urbi Bobblehead and buying the Yen Lo, and I have used none of my premium time, so I am still holding onto everything else, just in cae they do manage to pull it out, or if I need it to point out what a horrible game this had been.

LOL! that's even more funny than OP and his demands! I always love the "Imma sue you!" crowd in games. it could only have been funnier if you said "class action lawsuit"

Well considering that there are MORE bugs that render the game unplayable in one fashion or another than there were in closed beta, and a number that havent been fixed, if they hit 'release' (Like that will ever happen, they will keep it in beta forever just to cover their *****) and they still arent fixed? Yeah they deserve to be slapped with a lawsuit.

And I wouldnt say class action lawsuit, I am only out for myself, **** all those other jackoffs :)

This is ridiculous, I have a ping of around 270-280ms and the game is quite playable. If it folded tomorrow, I could still say that it was better value per hour than going to the cinema or hiring a Bluray.
Yes lets sue them so we can make sure there is no money to continue the game. " I hate finally having a Battletech based game so much, I want to be responsible for shutting it down, because I don't have the skills or patience or perserverance to be able to enjoy it." <sarcasm>
You might as well drop your new tub of icecream in the driveway of your house and then ask the supermarket to cough up a replacement because you fumbled it...

I definitely will not be impressed with PGI if they give refunds out to people like you who use your premium time, fully knowing it's in beta. What a terrible excuse. Not only that, it's really going to enrage the founders who were SAVING their premium time, knowing fully that once they activate it, then that's it.
I have been saving my premium time exclusively until the game is officially released, or when there comes a point where I feel like I would gain the most from activating it. If you felt like it was a good time for you to click that button then that was your decision.
PGI was already nice enough to give us 4 weeks of free premium time before they put in the Activate button, and now you want a refund because you used your premium time when you fully knew that it's still in beta form?
Sorry, your fault buddy! I feel bad for ya, but... in all fairness you were warned.

However, I would not mind a stat reset. Actually. I won't mind if stats were removed until it was released.

Hey I wanted a full refund but because my grandfather had the temerity to die in october and I got stuck at my mom's in the backwoods of maine without internet for a month Im **** outta luck. I wouldnt be posting or continuing my interest in this if that had happened so youre stuck with me and those like me.

I honestly dont see a good reason for THIS game to ever leave the beta state either.
They can expect people to pay for it, for MC, or premium time and if they launch, they lose the number one criticism deflection. See ironic sig
