I get 10-15 FPS increase as well. Seems to be much smoother moving the reticule around side to side, etc.
I also love the new start-up. B)

Was testing lasers against a circle strafing Centurion at speed and I was able to hit individual parts of the cent by aiming directly at them. No ghost shooting required!

Fingers crossed this keeps up!

I noticed a greatlly reduced lagshield both giving and recieving

Really want to thank the PGI team for this patch today. We have had players who have not been able to play but after today's patch are able to play better than ever before. All of our team mates are seeing a 10 to 20 FPS rate increase along with being able to hit light mechs better than ever. The start up animation is sweet to boot!!

this!!!
hitting lights is not like closed beta but it´s a lot better than before....whatever you did, you did it right B)

betty <3
great performace increase, even on high end rig

This is a great patch but I have noticed some things that have changed. To me, it seems like the AC/20 Cats are useless now as the AC/20 is so fragile (at least in the Cat) that it makes no sense to use. The other issue I saw was in 1 round the number killed was off by 1 and I died on my own without overheat warning or out of bounds warning. Not sure what happened there and my death didn't count on their score so I think that screwed up the death counts.

Think you mean "Gauss Rifle" and not AC20's

Yes lag shield is significantly decreased. Also good work on upping the color and increasing detail. Noticed significant changes on river city.

Do you have a smart phone?

Router with DD-WRT Firmware
+ Static IP address (or use noip.com)
+ App to send magic packet
+ Tell router to forward magic packet port to your desktop's IP (this will wake up your computer from sleep state)
+ App for Remote Log In (I use Splashtop for the iPhone)
= Accessing your desktop from your phone and patching while at work.

Obviously, this has many uses besides patching MWO. It's not the easiest thing to set up in the world, but there are good tutorials online.

Indeed, game runs considerably smoother now. And the startup sequence is damn cool, adds a lot to the allready impressive feeling.

The new startup sequence really made my day, cool stuff! The firing delay for projectile based weapons seems to have been significantly reduced and i see a lot less warping and sliding then i used to. Overall combat seems much more fluid now. Makes it alot easier to hit those pesky ravens;)
2 thumbs up from me!

They didn't fix the 4fps bug, no new maps and huge performance drops for many people.
