Same problem here I have been booted out of 5 matches in a row, can'tseem to play at all. All since the last patch.

Radeon 6950

Thanks

I start the battle then get booted to the startup screen every match. Every couple of matches I get the freeze when the map is loading and have to cntrl-alt- del out, and get the windows sceen Mechwarriors not responding.

I am still in the line, tried everything...

Deleting Cache, set lower FPS Vsync, reinstalled the game, disabled overclocking, Fullscreen, Windowed mode... nothing worked, still freezes the game and my only option is to logout of windows. I can start the task manager, but i can't see it, because MWO ist fullscreen. I tried the window mode, but then i get the Cryengine: Command buffer overflow error.

FIX THAT DAMN BUG PLEASE!!!

I dropped my fullscreen resolution down to 1650x0180 from 2560x1440 and that seemed to help somewhat. I still get freezes, but if I wait it out - the game comes back. 2560x1440 tended to do a full lock up.

Something is definitely corrupting the video memory on the card, or forcing a total reload of the display context. I've noticed my second monitor lose most of its video buffer and have to be redrawn when this happens.

(Trying to give some more clues if they help devs).

Is there anyway to run this game with more verbose logging to the Omicron.txt file? I could capture some results..

Limiting FPS to 50 has been the only thing that stops these freezes from the last two patches. Taking it off led to a freeze in the next match.

constant crashing for me now as well, been getting worse and worse, I uninstalled and am reinstalling now thinking maybe I had managed to get a corrupted last patch, but it appears that it is just a "feature" of the new patch, but I will let you know if that helps

I have experienced this mid-round freeze in 4 out of 5 matches I've tried since the patch. The game is completely unplayable. And I just spent $30 on MC.

I have the same issue, but it seems to always happen on alpine. two patches before, locked up on alpine 50 percent of the time, 19 Feb patch seemed to fix it. after 5 march patch, having the same issue. Last night, played 5 matches, locked up back to back on alpine. went to bed because it was midnight and i was about to chuck the computer out of the second story window. need more time to test and see if i can recreate on other maps. thanks for the fps limit tips. ill try using those...using a HD7970 here.

Latest nvidia beta drivers seem to have stopped the freeze-ups with an unlocked frame-rate.

Apparently not permanently 'cause the freezing is back, had to limit frame rate again.

Happens to me based on a sudden increase in particles and sounds. Not sure which one is Bugged, but when this originally started for me on 2/12 patch I found that setting particles to lowest (low) kept game freezes to a minimum. After the 2/19 patch this is no longer effective at all.

I was going to participate in the Tournament this weekend, but my fist game of the day resulted in a Freeze requiring a Task Manger shutdown of MWO, so no Tourney for me.

Also, prior to 2/12 MWO crashed 5 times since June, since 2/12 it crashes every 1-5 games. I guess that counts as a Defeat and wipes my kills/assists.

Well, the 314.07's did nothing to stop the Freeze, froze up on the very first game. Trying the new Beta's from 3/4, 314.14 driver....

From http://mwomercs.com/...s-game-freezes/, and various other threads on this freezing topic.

Same here, and with a lot of other people who post randomly in crash related threads. I'd like to see a sticky on this one if possible, people are experiencing this issue for over a month now.

Situation: Game freezes at random times, usual in consecutive games, on average after 3 or 4 drops. The screen freezes, sometimes last audio keeps repeating. I don't hear the match progressing. Alt tab doesn't work, have to ctrl-alt-del and force quit the game.

Tried: Updating drivers, reinstalling client, deleting cache.

Ticket: submitted; ID #72209

Specs:
i5-2500K
8GB Ram
GTX 460 1GB (driver 314.07)
Win 7 x64

Not experiencing lockups anywhere else, not even Crysis 3.

PGI support asked a guy in the other thread to run the Training Grounds for a while, to see if the same crash occurs there. This could indicate it is netcode related to other mech behaviour.

*update* enabling vsync allowed me to play 6 or 7 games without crashing. Will see if this holds up. Can someone having this issue try enabling vsync?

Running with and without vsync, the only thing that has reliable stopped these freeze-ups is to limit framerate to 50 FPS.

GeForce 550ti - Game Settings Low to Med, Framerate between 75 and 30 fps (Avg.60fps)

HAVE NOT crashed yet until the 6th/7th of March, several crashes so far!

Always ran Vsync, Disabled multi-monitors, Never hotter than 40 Celsius all-round.

Pull The Trigger, and CTD! boo.
