It got announced... then pushed back... and pushed back again?

So sad, was kind of excited!

Agree. I leave myself connected to the server often for hopes of an end of game readout to see how my tweaked mech worked. But patience is not a strong suit and I walk away... especially if spectator mode is a slaughter.

Forget the content, fix the bugs is what I kept hearing on the forums. I hear we got a bug fix.

Well obviously different people work on bugs and such compared to those who work on a pretty new post match screen. Also it seemed ready to go TWO patches ago. Hence the confusion! I'd just like to know what happened to it.

Exactly!

Put the graphic and map design guys on bug fixing. That should help a lot.

It's stuff like this that makes me mad. It's great that lagshield was fixed, but:

This was announced 2 patches ago

> Mysteriously didn't appear

> No official news either

So yeah kinda meh.

Hoped they might learn and listen, but guess they only have so much time.

I would have preferred the new end screen over the useless start up animation.
It completely ruined my belief that I was a giant robot.

You're not a robot, you're a BattleMech. More precisely, you're a pilot.

care to elaborate why? because the more PGI keeps people in the dark, the more the community becomes rampant...

the amount of info (or lack of it) has us scratching our heads and putting away our wallets

Because if PGI released patch notes today and 1/3 of the items didn't make it into the patch the community becomes more rampant

Not me, it made me want to go smack my tech crew around for not getting all my systems into optimal state.

Testing at scale: some issues will only occur when they go to production. We are working to address this by setting up a new set of test servers.

A little off topic but I just read a post of Bryan Ekman's from the link in an earlier post with this tidbit. I know this has been talked about SO MUCH, but are we not the beta testers? Why have separate "test servers"?

PGI needs to clearly state what stage this game is at and act accordingly. This game feels nothing like a beta. What are we testing for really? There is so much more to implement - it's almost more of a Alpha phase to me, on top of the fact that it is open or "live" to the public which is even more confusing?! Plus they're happily taking our money all along the way. Now don't get me wrong, crowd-funding can be extremely successful and MWO is a prime example, but someone in development clearly has to indicate what phase this game is at and actually treat it as such. Enough of this MWO with a beta logo while having no indication it is actually meant for open beta testing.

End of rant, thank you for your time reading my gibberish.
