Just so this doesn't fan the flames. Buddah is saying that the problem/argument is purely theoretical in nature because both sides lack the evidence to prove either side wrong/right.

Unless numbers/statistics are shown, it is pure speculation on both ends.

As it stands, anyone can read what has been written and the thread of the conversation is it's own record. Its once you start seeing deleted posts that the dialog starts getting fuzzy or confused. I will admit a great deal of conversations around here are... full of vitriol, and many people are simply yelling at the air in front of them; if I didn't believe that these conversations could have a positive effect, either in shaping PGIs direction going forward, or in making some in the community more empathic to a view they don't currently possess, I wouldn't bother talking.

At my last reading the How often do you PUG Poll There were about 25% more PUGs than PreMades. is there something wrong with the game's MM actually balancing the number of Premades and PUGs on both teams? I am OK with not knowing what I will face but I would like to know both teams are using some comms!

Im not the one Stating that premades are ruining the game for pugs and my argument calls on the law of chance, that if something hapens to one party there is an equal chance that it will hapen for the other party therefore i dont need to prove anything, and to point out that the Tools are already out there is utter trash? ok..

2. Didn't realize you had inside information on how the matchmaking works, please inform me how exactly the matchmaker attempts to place premades on both teams. Also make sure to attach Dev comments and/or patch notes stating this.

3. Please justify the following statement made by one NOMAD "but i shouldnt need to go to that Great amount of effort you say, well mate dont go out into the real world and get a job or maybe a girlfriend cause your going to need a car that neither will provide for you so you can get to the job or pick her up for a date, make no effort at all that will get you places.."
Please point out how said statement is accurate and/or constructive.

He's not going to be happy. There's NO making him happy. Even IF PGI agreed and stated they were going to add the '1 pre-made per side' thing to balance it.

Plus, NONE of the jaggoffs EVER provided any actual proof that all, or even most, PUG losses were absolutely the fault of pre-mades. Sure, some might be, BUT, if PUGs are the vast majority, it means PUGs are losing to PUGs most of the time.

And that fact is avoided because it invalidates their arguments as to the 'severity' of this problem.

seriously, that's how I feel. you people attack each other directly and not give a solution to the problem. Blast each other while not giving a reason why the ELO rankings won't work, and how to mitigate the damage 4 mans do in terms of balance. and bombard each other making idiots out of yourselves.

I have a solution. Lobby "planets" and Galactic Conquest where planets are fought over by people and factions who are both good and bad in terms of morality and skill, where Battles are lost and won by the people, and even though the community whines about their faction being horrible, can call upon NUMEROUS mercenary corps to turn the tide to their side via THE POWER OF THE C-BILL!!!!!!

we can do away with the ELO ladders, with ranks given to victories, personal achievements, damage, and other criteria. Planets that have certain criteria that must be met (ie. "you must be a Mechwarrior Rank 2 to drop here" ) but will provide leeway (ie. "your 4 man group only has a MechWarrior Status of 9, to fight effectively on this planet you need 10 up to 18, are you sure you still want to enter?") and BIG bonuses for going against the odds (ie. "you as a Status 17, defeated a Status 21 team, your payment has been increased to accommodate your victory").

that is problem-solving to the max. Not "NO :| cuz you are an 1dIots"
