I found the title misleading as there are so many "eradicate the splat cat... nerf it more!" folks out there. I see you added dates to the videos.
Vid #1 makes the splat look a bit more powerful than it really is because it had teammates. No splat solos an enemy team anymore... (which is wrong, soloing indicates brokenness)
Vid #2 and Vid #3 are great at showing how broken it was... single shotting assaults in the back. Any hit on a light would send it up like a roman candle. It was fun while it lasted.
But these SRM damage levels can still be effective. The splat is not completely dead. But it would be nice for them to throw us a bone in the form of lower heat and/or more ammo per ton.

It funny though, recently match came down to me and an enemy splatcat. I stayed about 200-250 meters away at all times and kept scratching his armour with lasers until he finally died. Took 5 minutes and the match almost ended on time, but it goes to show the splatcat's primary weakness:

Ya range for sure, especially w/o artemis. But add artemis and you lose speed, alpha and/or ammo. Accuracy increases range but speed closes distance, which is better!? I prefer speed cause it's useful even when you're not shooting. Accuracy vs alpha damage is kinda counterproductive, more accurately place less damage. Accuracy vs ammo... ACCURATELY RUN OUT OF AMMO AMIRITE!?
