I was wondering how the heck I was supposed to 'report' a thread. The button at the bottom of each post?
Either way, moot question now -- TY, Ego!
On topic:
After PGI has finished making the maps they've already planned, I hope they take suggestions on layouts from the players. The layouts have been fine so far, but I'd love a map where we fight inside an enormous hangar, for example.

Have you thought of adding more bunches with their own polls to the topic? Or would it delete the results of the current polls? You have quite an array there, but there are still more possibilities like Star League fortresses, flying cities (not just fantasy, it's canon, really ), starports, et cetera. Don't get me started on Solaris arenas.

Jungle Palace
Underwater Ruins
Spaceport Facility
Nuclear Wasteland
Please note, you may need to redo polls 1 & 2 in order to do poll 3. Thanks for taking the time.

Icy Moon, Metropolis, Mining Colony, Asteroid Base, Lunar Observatory - we've either gotten them or something like them since this thread began, or have been promised them in the next few releases.
Dustbowl, Firestorm, Underwater Ruins, Space Platform, Stormfront Farm - fun ideas, but unlikely until PGI starts putting dynamic elements and altered gravity into the game, which they aren't close to doing yet.
Event Horizon, Ancient City, Biodome, Jungle Palace, Planetary Rings - Devs are likely to be concerned with actual gameplay rather than just the visual features, and these suggestions seem to revolve mostly around eye candy (which could just as easily go into more fleshed-out map concepts). Also, all but Planetary Rings strike me as unrealistic scenarios for human colonization and/or Mech combat.
Aerospace Hangar, Marshes, Jungle Outpost, Spaceport Facility - INCREDIBLY detail-oriented, far more so than current maps. Don't see stuff like this happening until further down the road.
Green Valley, Redwood Forest, Castle Mountain - slightly boring/redundant for a MW game (no offense)
The remaining candidates I voted for:
Deep Cavern: Ehhh, why not.
Badlands: I like this because it reminds me of the wide-open MW2 scenarios, and because the openness would minimize cover and basically create a refreshing deathmatch game mode without needing to program it. I know PGI wanted terrain-based maps to eliminate circle-strafing, but why not have a change of pace?
Red Planet: Sandstorm element and red shift would be awesome.
Tropical Island: Everyone needs to get away once in a while.
Nuclear Wasteland: Now THIS would be an iconic BT location just begging for a story. Takes me back to the MW3 opening cinematic.
Also important to remember that a zero-atmosphere environment in sunlight would not be "very cold" as far as a Mech was concerned. It would actually be "very hot" because there's no air to dissipate heat. It'd be Tourmaline/Caustic times three.

My main problem with MWO right now as a player is over familiarity with the maps. I want ALL OF THESE!

What general setting do you like? (Asteroid, Underground, Space, etc)
What Temperature do you like (Hot, Cold, Temperate, Mixed, extremes)
Like what terrain do you like? (Mountain, Lakes, Cliffs, Badlands)
What Weather do you like? (Stormy, Fog, Clear, rain, Acid rain(dmg), Volcanic ash)
What type of features do you like(City, Lost bases, Drop ships, Towers, Suburban, Lone buildings, etc)
What day/night cycle do you perfer (Day/Night/Evening(dusk)/Sunrise)?
Other types of questions as well, this would allow then allow the developers to better determine what types of maps the user base is looking for.
