Cupcakes (the story and youtube videos) are the only thing that made me even remotely curious about bronies. I mean, are they considered part of pony canon?

More like fanon...

And I gotta say, I don't like it.
My personal oppinion, but I love a good creepy story, but find no enjoyment with those bloody, gory horrorfictions (or movies like that for the matter)

So would it be safe to assume every "normal"(???) brony has a general dislike for cupcakes?

Pretty much. But cupcakes starts to fall into one of those weird categories of things that are just so insanely horrible that they become laughable. Like agony in pink.

But no, it's not remotely canon, and even calling it fanon would be a hell of a stretch. It's just one of thousands of horrifying fanfics that exist.

The Cutie Squad, on the other hand, is 100% canon. No lie.

i JUST DONT GET IT. But whatever. I didn't even know they remade the show until cupcakes was started an uproar. Not having kids leaves me a little behind in kids shows.

Though Adventure Time, regular show, and the like seem to be a return of the good cartoons I enjoyed growing up.

There's nothing to get. Don't waste your energy.

But yeah Adventure Time is pretty great. Sadly I haven't been able to see more than a handful of episodes, I don't have a TV or cable anymore, I just watch stuff whenever Netflix gets around to acquiring it.

Haters gonna hate, ponies gonna evolve hands so they can fight back with mechs of their own.

"Shipping" is shorthand for "relationshipping". It's basically what inevitably happens with every and all fanbases ever. In case you were wondering, I'm pretty sure it started with Rainbow Dash being shipped with other female characters.

Shipping didn't start out as serious with bronies, and taking it seriously is missing out on the joke, because some fanfics are just downright hilarious and many of those are shipfics.

No, although people make jokes that Pinkie Pie cracking in the "Party of One" leads to "Cupcakes".

That being said, you'd actually be amused by things like [links removed] Cause some people definitely like to put their ponies off the deep end...mostly in a non-canon and disturbing manner.

It's OK. We have this stuff called "soap" and "water" we use regularly to keep clean on the thread.

(Hint: The pic's been posted about a zillion times, and you didn't read MWO's rules about the Pony Thread...)

The question is, did he mean: "Purge the unclean mechs", meaning that bronies should purge the "unclean mechs", or did he mean "Purge the unclean, mechs", meaning that mechs should purge the unclean bronies?

Either way, that picture should have an automatic ban-hammer attached to it. It is so incredibly "done before".

*sigh* why am I so curious?
I dunno why, but these kinds of things tend to turn my stomach upside down if I spend too much time with them...
Strangely enough, I'm pretty sure it's not the gore or blood that gets me every time, I dunno what it is but due to my curiousity I usually do spend too much time with this stuff once I stumble across it.
I suppose I could try to figure out the reasons for that (subconcious) reaction, but I have no intention to dive any deeper into it lol

you could say, it literally makes me sick...

Don't worry, that's the normal reaction. It just means you haven't been completely desensitized by the internet yet.

Gamer Luna is a lot safer for both work and sanity.
Princess Molestia on the other hoof . . not so much . .

On the topic of shipping, I'd say it's usually harmless (though admittedly a lot of it can be clichéd). Most are just tame romantic stories, after all.

There are a couple of real gems among the formulaic love-at-first-sight stories, though, such as this one.

I just realized that this thread has turned me into a complete brony!

I was just reading up on the thread and realized I posted my first pony-related stuff on page 70 in february. That's when I became a brony. Thank you all! Friendship and harmony all the way... oh and some smile smile smile and such :)

Keep ponying and we'll make three hundred pages before MWO is released!P
