4 PPCs. Simple as that. I always alpha with it. It can do 3 Alphas, overheating on the third. But usually I just stand back from the font and take my time hitting the same place.

No one dares to underrun the ppc's minimum range on this baby...

4PPCs, 2 SRM4, 2 SRM2 and 2 or 3 tons SRM ammo
Heat is manageable and the SRMs are sufficient to kill damaged mechs at close range
(usually you can nflict some damage to them before they close in)
Best damage so far ~1200
Cicada 3M
2 ERPPCs mit ECM
Fun build, pretty hot.
Best damage so far ~500
Why 2xSRM4 and 2xSRM6? Does it save crit slots in favor of tonnage? I'm pretty sure that opting for 2xSRM6 instead would be better both for tonnage and space.

What do you like?
I run a centurion with 2 PPC's, 2 LRM 5's and 2 small lasers, with the fastest XL. Centurion's are more or less made for XL's because of there tiny shoulder's and big arms that block the shoulders. It's like a dragon with a better CT hitbox.

First of all its 2xSRM4 and 2xSRM2 not 6. But i guess it was just a typo.
This is my exact build:
STK-3F
As you can see i have 0 crits to spare and 0 tons to spare.
Now the comparison:
2xSRM4 and 2xSRM2 take up 4crits and weigh 6tons
2xSRM6 .....................take up 4crits and weigh 6tons
-> Its the same size and crits, but SRM6 are spreading much worse than SRM4s or pinpointy SRM2s
And they even fire a tad faster.
Thats why i take the SRM2 and 4 combination instead of SRM6s.

That's actually a pretty solid build. If anything I would put the SRM4s in the torso in case you lost an arm you don't lose as much firepower (though with the arms being so narrow I honestly don't know how often that comes up in a Stalker). I know you would also lose some vertical movement but maybe also move one of the PPCs in each arm to the side torsos for tighter grouping and redundancy (again, in case you lose an arm).
IDK, I just really like redundancy, it's still a solid build as is, though.

But what I now find myself driving a lot is a Catapult K2 with 2 PPCs and 2 Large Lasers. I like to pretend it's an upgraded Marauder 3D with double heat sinks and endo-steel. It can send a lot of PPC and large laser fire downrange before overheating. It's probably the biggest damage dealer in my hangar, next to my Hunchback 4SP.

4xER PPC Hunchback 4P
4 ER PPCs in the hunch,
Keep 272 armor points,
go Endo-Steel,
shove an STD 125 in there,
pack the thing with double heatsinks
Now go. Enjoy brutal Assault-type sniper training at 44.something kph (w/ speedtweak) >:D
Could barely run an alpha without overheating prior to the patch... now it's a little more manageable (heat efficiency climbed from 0.75 to a STARTLING 0.82)

It is a pretty solid build, indeed and i get very stable results with it.
Thank you for your feedback.
The only reason why i would ever put any weapon in my side Torso instead of the arms
is for aesthetics and thats it. In a Stalker the arm gets nearly never shot down.
Its the side Torso, every single time.
Because ya know, Stalker SideTorsos are made of the latest fancy super-bullet-magnet material
AND are less armored as a result of this new material <.<
No, seriously i would love to pack 10pts armor from my CT, 5pts from each arm and 10pts from each
leg in those huge SideTorsos.
Would improve weapon reliability and survivability by 25% without exaggeration
TLDR:
SideTorsos go down first, nearly always. -> Weapon in Arms are better than torso

Sniper + a little Dakka = very comfortable build.
@Volt Opt Construct: If you have pulsers for short range anyway and don't have the sinks for using them with the ERPPC at the same time, then why not a standard PPC?
Ì would use ERPPCs only if all my other armament would consist of Gauss and/or LRM.
Took me forever and a day to reply to this, mainly due to putting together a liquid cooling system, but I prefer ER PPCs to standard PPCs due to the minimum range being reduced drastically. I can shoot an annoying Jenner if it decides it's tough **** with it and go back to suppressing a Catapult from firing more LRM salvos.

Can't wait for "Arm Lock" option - it's hard to aim all PPCs in one point.

Standard 300 Engine,
2 ER PPC
1 Gauss
2 Med lasers.

2 PPC
4 ML
XL260
15 DHS
Endo
It's good at circling while taking snipes and when the need arises, go light hunting (those 4 ML can be fired near to non stop).
Don't get into prolonged brawls!!

mine is 2 less heatsinks, no machine guns, endo-steel, STD engine 305 and speed tweak.
You play like a normal k2 except that in brawl range you can still do considerable damage.
I run similar, except with an XL300, no endo steel, and add the MGs. It has 20 DHS on it, and runs fairly cool. I can still overheat it on hotter maps, but it takes awhile. The MGs are a nice touch - they don't do much damage but they do get crits, and the fact that they add no heat is a bonus.
I also have been running PPCs on my Ravens. I like the PPC over lasers, and I usually slap an SRM6 on there to cover the closer ranges. It's not great against other lights, but does fantastically against slower mechs.

I've seen this build in action and can vouch for its lethality.
