What if, theoretically, I died first, got a kill or two, and ended up at top or second damage total done, despite being out of the match inside 3 minutes?
Can I call the rest of my team (or certain persons on it) bad for not getting any kills, and doing worse damage then me, despite living longer?
More in the theme of the thread, recently I was told through team chat to stop using my TAG and go charging into the enemy team.
I was in an atlas with 1 LRM launcher (on top of the brawl weaponry), using the auto-tag config file, the enemy team outnumbered me 3 to 1 in that location, and I'd lost my CT armor earlier.
I was waiting for them to come for me, as I might be able to take one or two down.
I gave in and charged into the enemy's brawl stalker and other mechs, and died just to quiet the guy.
Of course as of the end of match screen I was second, and he was second to last with ~50 dmg.
Generally I think we should avoid calling any other players
bad at the game. Even bad pilots (I'm not naming names) get lucky from time to time. Skilled pilots (I'm not naming names) can have a poor showing quite often, especially with a team.
These things aren't indicative of skill or lack thereof.
Disagreeing with a strategy, a build, a tactic, etc... are also not reasons to put someone down.
So far, I think we've got a pretty positive and fun community. I find these ill-mannered louts to be in the minority.
