Same problem in my first 2 games ...
first game froze around minute 4, 2nd at start screen of the battle

Addendum:
3rd time again at ~minute 3 or 4 ... this time while spectating, after my mech had been killed.

Only managed to complete a single match out of 4 without freezing so far

I cannot get through a single match computer locks up black screen looping sound. Started last patch with random drops to mechbay now this. Very frustrating with the amount some have spent to be unable to play.

-Happens randomly during match but always happens, black screen game locks up cant do anything but restart computer.
-Only since this patch
-Completely deleted and reinstalled, no fix still locks up during every game.
-Since last patch have been disconnecting to mechlab every other match, now this worse crap.

Same problem with patching and quitting. Have quit at end of 1 several times, once got to patch two and it quit while finalizing. rebooted several times - no helpy

I am getting the same FRead as the other guys. This happens every patch for the last 4 or 5. I am not sure what the deal but please fix it. I have to re download the entire game every time. Please help me.

I've hard locked 6 times tonight. I'm walking along and it freeze frames. Only way to get out of game is ctrl-alt-delete and end the task.

Windows 7 64-bit
3770k
16 gigs of RAM
670 GTX

edit: I did do a clean reinstall for tonight's patch and that did not help at all.

Same crash issue which existed since the Feb. 5 patch is still present. Exhibits itself as a full screen hang, and every crash has coincided with LRMs impacting a mech. Must be terminated with task manager.

Prior to this patch I wasn't seeing any crashes. i'm now seeing the game freeze while in-game. dxdiag dump below.

I am also getting the game freeze, where I have to go to task manager, MWO is not responding and I have to kill it.
Happens every few matches, and usually occurs early in the match.

Just built a new PC, and there is next to nothing installed on it so far.
The few things that are installed are working fine, and there are no heat issues with everything running very cool so far.

Game hangs with a frozen picture.Raidcall only program in the background continues working . ctrl alt delete to kill the task. i5 CPU amd 7950 video . Windows 7 x64 ultimate .

Randomly dropped me mid-game for no apparent reason. All I got was an in-game text box saying: "Session has been lost"

Dropped me back to the log-in screen.

I am having massive issues with this new patch. First the patching program would hang and not finish. So i uninstalled, re downloaded the game. reinstalled, then just patched 1.7g of new patch. Now i can get into the main page of the game, but I cannot launch into battle (the launch button is always orange not blue), every time i select a mech it crashes. The mechlab doesnt load mechs, and if i try and click one it will crash. The pilot lab doesnt display anything.

What do i do?

(btw im a paying customer)

Stability has been steadily getting worse for me for the last 3 patches (at the same time performance has been increasing), but this one is the worst I've seen it.

5 games so far tonight (first since the patch), every one resulting in a lock up requiring a hard reset of the PC as soon as my mech is destroyed. I mean the instant it's destroyed and at no other time. I hear the engine pop, then screen goes blank, the sound loops and I have to reboot.

Been a while since I've done a clean install of the game, so I'll try that and report back.

HD7970 3gb
16gb G-Skill DDR3 1600Mhz

Drivers are all up-to-date, etc etc.

I am not actually crashing (no crash dump file is generated) but I often disconnect from matches now and it sends me back to mechlab. This didn't start happening until this latest patch. Happens on all maps as far as I can tell and all different mechs.

Disconnected from my last two matches in a row now... before the game even started.... make that 3.

Game freezes while halfway playing. Fix it before next patch please or at least give us back our premium time.

Whenever I am about to be dropped on the planet - right after the black loading screen - I get kicked out with the message "Connection to server lost." despite a stable internet connection...

Happened 4 times in a row now, though number 5 was the lucky one.

On Caustic map about 3 minutes into conquest game. Pressed "Y" to respond to team mate and had hard crash. MWO non responsive and no error message given.
