Everyone knows what to do and how to play now. It is so smooth. No more stupid rambo charges. No more chasing the 3L.
Is this real life, or just fantasy?

2 were 8-0
1 was a win by cap for them (we had 4 left, they had 2)
1 was 8-2
FAIL ELO
ELO isn't going to guarantee you don't get 8-0 losses/wins. That's impossible. It just means that it tries to match you with people who have historically similar wins/loss records.

I wonder how it is for people with inflated stats...
probably no worse because they are facing other people with inflated states. Only a small % are really that good most are disconnect kids

The 3 Games I played were all not right matched.
Ah..make that 7 Times failed to find a Match.
Hoping this will improve

Also still lots of disconnecters, afkers and 6/7v8 games.
What I like the most is the increased amount of time it takes to find a game. Takes forever now.

Exactly. Even if Elo wasn't actually implemented, but the patch says it was, there would be people claiming that Elo is working and improving the quality of their matches.
Except that ELO is implemented since last patch, and matchmaking is actually implemented this patch. So this can't be a placebo, and additionally we have no control group by players who aren't included in matchmaking to compare.
If people report better matchmaking and more serious challenge in the long term, then this is it, even though there's cherry-picking effect and confirmation bias to take in account as well.
Fail science is fail.

May have already been said. tl;dr. our elo is separate from our visible stats and it has been calculating in the background since Feb 5 patch.

And elo has improved the game experience for me so far. Although my sample is rather small. (+-10 matches)
Better teammates, no afk's etc.
Oh and better opponents too!
I look at you, almost dead atlas in River City!!!
Maybe I just got lucky so far, who knows? I'll see if my experience changes when I play some more on thursday.

This is also despite me having 3.7 KDR. I find it pretty funny that I'm getting 2-3 kills minimum almost every match yet still have more losses than wins because I'm being placed on garbage teams of ***** pubbies.

If you loose more than you win, it might simply mean that you are not as great as you think you are, regardless of your KDR.
