Maybe just a short one Janitor? Unless Cedric decides to open fire, it's looking like this should be between him and Vega. For the moment at least.

Agreed. Think the next post should be Cedric, unless the other guys want to react to his appearance.

While admittedly I did set up something with comedic value, it was intended to increase the tension and force Cedric to show his hand. I get that Shade is a tad unhinged, but I think mocking him like that would be a c10 laden bridge too far.

What you did was fine Shep, Guardian just took it too far.
You forgot the gas tanks that played a huge (pun intended) part in that explosion.

Got it, I'll get an intermediate post up shortly here, got some stuff to do today so it'll likely be up tomorrow.
It'll also give Guardian a chance to modify his post.

Totally. I mean we could take it out if we ganged up on it, but it'd be costly, and I dare say, not worth it.

contrary to popular belief, a charger is not an 80 ton meat shield.

guardian wolf, I'm serious about the edits I asked you to do a few posts ago.

If guardian doesn't get back to us about editing before I have the next post up, I'll interpret what his char actually said, because the way it stands now doesn't work.

Much more appropriate now I'd say, well done. And it still manages to let him get his cray cray on.

Janitor, would you like James grovelling first, or should I wait until we can gauge Cedric's response?

All good, I'll wait.

And I'll admit Guardian, I chuckled at Shade's antics.

Personally, I didn't find them to be that bad. A little off, but Shade is a bit off.

Also, Spokes, I took my sweet time in remembering, but the little Chaos Star you used in that CK2 shoop character sheet, is actually THE Chaos Star I was planning to use in the unit's logo in some form, so you win bonus points for that.
And in the same vein of talking about the unit emblem, part of what I want to do is incorporate little silhouettes of all the main character's callsign into the overall emblem, so Fishy has a fish on the emblem, Shepard has a shepard's crook, etc. But Spokes is giving me a real hard time cause if I take a wagon wheel, then it looks like your name should be Wheels, wondering if I should just put a Scorpion on it and call it a day.

Opinion?

The Unit Insignia thread got me butt in gear actually designing the emblem. >.>

Love the idea of incorporating everyone into the emblem. Just make sure the Shepherds's crook doesn't resemble TOGs walking stick too much
As for ideas for Spokes? Perhaps a (mech) scorpion's leg? They're technically her Spokes' spokes...

Also, working on a short one for James' reaction to Cedric now. Should have it up later this Australian day.

I actually pinged cmopatrick via pm to see if I should plan on having him back for future parts are not, waiting on a response still.

I don't know how well this would work, but one thing you could try doing is taking that wagon wheel and then emphasizing the spokes so they stand out from the rest of the image. A brighter color maybe?

Or you could go in another direction entirely and incorporate a lectern or podium of some sort. "Spokes" could also be short for "spokesperson".

I can play around with it on my end if you'd like. Along a similar vein, I've been toying around with a Havoks dress uniform ever since the briefing scene in Steel and Snow. I'll see if I can finish it up over the next week or so.

Spoiler

Current version I'm sitting on, still got space to add something to represent TOG if he decides to come back. total image size is large because there is a campaign badge for Kharkand that I hid before I flattened it. Don't want the little easter egg in it to give anything away.
