So MechWarrior is dead because they delayed the Raven by a few weeks?

What if I did not like the Raven? I am dead too?

I know I'm very late to the party. I woke up, managed to get through 8 pages, and then off to work. I just managed to catch up just now.

Norris and Kong have a lot of time and love invested in this game. Sometimes we might spend far too many hours going through archives of information, developer posts, and media blurbs elsewhere. A few of our previous conspiracies made it into the /mwog/ discussions and not here. One of them was probably shot down when Paul mentioned PGI's work on the 2009 Unreal 3 based trailer.

This? It's just talking about the potential. Norris does a lot of research to bring these little tidbits that we might forget about next week. Seriously, I have a collection of post and links to break out from three months ago that refer back to posts a month before that REMINDER.

Kong needs to learn to listen? We developer stalk on Reddit, Twitter, and listen to NGNG. Go listen to a 8 issue old NGN #53? OK, that's two month's old now. Go listen to NGNG #62, Valkryie, Haruko, and myself were there in the recording. Phil even NAMEDROPS me when they talk about another round of MWT Beta keys.

We participate in this community just like many others. And yes we're doing outreach.

http://mwomercs.com/...rity-solutions/

If you have any other questions stop by there or the Mechwarrior Online General on 4Chan's /vg/ board.

Addendum: While I cannot many recall specific instances, (the last I remember is Bryan on Twitter over the weekend) over in the Mechwarrior Online General, we are usually the first people to know new information on MWO or at least know where and who is talking about new information.

I never said it was.

I merely pointed out that due to PGI's projected plans that they should roughly coincide.

And they may well still roughly coincide, you have no idea, nor does anyone else not working at PGI.

You make statements based on supposition that's not even remotely supported by anything factual and flies in the face of the standing evidence. You wonder that some of us would question the validity of your opinions when they aren't based on facts at all?

Okay Kristov, please tell me what this standing evidence is and how it relates to the content gap that I refer to.

PGI has shown that they cannot breach the 1 Mech per month hurdle, they don't have the manpower to do so. That is a fact.

If I am wrong, I want you to prove it, I want you to show somewhere that PGI actually has more employees that Bryan has stated. I want you to show me that they can work faster than the 1 Mech per month estimate he gives.

Until then, you are yelling at clouds.

Are Mechs the ONLY content you consider to be worthwhile? Really?

All the things this game is still missing that's being added piece by piece...and all you consider worthwhile is a new Mech...

nuff said methinks.

No it isn't.

Maps take 3-4 months to complete.

We are at the tail end of the Map cycle currently.

You still haven't refuted any single thing that I've said Kristov, I am waiting for you to do so.

Official ones. Ones with concrete proof of what you are speculating.

because PGI does not predict that they will have Community Warfare out until several months after Open Beta is done, which should be around the Summer Time.

This means that in all likelihood, Community Warfare will not be added until the end of the year either.

Why does CW suddenly go from being released during the summer to not being added until the end of the year?

And why would that happen?

I've been waiting 30 years for a game this good. If CW doesn't come out till next year, I'll still have tons of fun blowing up big stompy robots every day until then. And just about every month, I get a new big stompy robot to blow up. Bonus!

Because PGI stated that Open Beta won't be done until some point during the summer.

They then stated that CW won't be in until several months after Open Beta was done.

If we assume even mid-summer, and a minimum of three months, it means that it'll be October-November before it is in the game.

Actually they stated that CW would follow several months after Open Beta started. Shortly after CW hits that would be the official launch date.

Then we're still making assumptions (a minimum of three months is pretty hefty).

If you wanted to look at it is a range of possiblities, CW could come out as little as one month after OB ends, of course depending on how well they're doing on it.

Which leads to the conclusion that CW comes out basically, well, any time between the middle of summer and the end of the year, which isn't a very precise timeline, and you really can't make anything but assumptions as to what specific time it'll be.

I think claiming it'll be at the end of the year is a mistake. The level of progression we've seen so far is very nice in terms of mechanics (although, surely, there are some serious issues that still need to be addressed). I'd wager we'll see CW sometime around July. Of course, its important for even myself to keep in mind this is nothing but an assumption on my part, but at least its no more wrong or right than yours was, either.

Obviously i have to clarify so you can understand.
Clearly you are relying on such thing as old whiteboard scribbles and other such to add weight to your argument but that does little to nothing to elevate your argument. What else do you have? A leaked picture and some timelines for mech releases..followed by some more speculation.
So basicly thats it. And here you are attempting to push your view as gospel truth.
Where is the concrete proof of what you have to say? Got none? Then thats speculating on things that you have little to no knowledge about. Fearmongering and speculating on things that you have no prior knowledge. Just stop.

Man, there are some rustled jimmies in here.

Question: how is the "it's just beta!" argument supposed to work when they're already charging real-world money for things?

Because 'Beta' as we know it today can be whatever the Dev. says it is i guess
