"Be sure to drink your Ovaltine."

That exact qoute popped in my mind. I bet those jerks at WG got took the Pirranha guys out for drinks and gave them this idea.

It's kinda cool. But I don't think its worth the countdown. I thought it would be a pack of the next 5 mechs or something.

That's actually pretty cool.

I'll admit it's a novel idea, but that's it. I'm sure some hardcore immersion fan may buy it, but in terms of functionality vs cost this is lacking in functionality and adding greatly to cost.

Can't believe everyone is so deeply hurt by the announcement, I think it's a great idea and I've had a good couple of years of service out of my Razer stuff. The big question is that of the pricetag. With a screen dedicated to the device, I'm sure it'll be a hell of a lot more than it's competitiors.

Nice idea, though  if I win some money, I'll definitely get one.

If I had the money that probably will cost... i am sure I would use it on something else....

dissapointed now...

*looking around for something to do now*

Cool idea, but...Razer?  Every product of theirs I've ever owned has had problems within 6 months.
Yeah, my Mamba mouse is falling apart after 6 months...Razer make Goodlooking equipements, but unfortunately, not long living one...

I like the idea...but after the nightmare that was the Logitech G19 keyboard (the one with the LCD screen), there's one question nagging at me:

Will it actually work with SLI?

That screen is what makes me wonder; every product I've ever used that included an LCD screen caused problems with the SLI drivers.

I already own a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS system, which is a GOOD stick and throttle... Why would I want anything built by Razer?

I'm kind of annoyed that the scrambled picture had absolutely nothing to do with anything.

I mean, ok you guys got us all riled up and we're drooling for any info at all... don't just **** with us like that.

It's a very interesting looking concept, and I'm sure some of the power gamers with lots of extra cash to drop will purchase them.

I don't have the extra cash, what extra I have I'd rather spend on the game then on peripherals.

One thing the Artemis indicates is the game's ability to send the radar screen to a secondary monitor/window. That sounds pretty cool. I wonder if that will be possible without the device.

maybe not if you watched the counter since it started, expecting some sort of mechwarrior movie trailer. But I only wasted 4 minutes.
But in the age of JJ Abrams'esque advertising you shouldn't be surprised about the hype generated by viral marketing.

I would have been more excited if Artemis was a video of an Atlas named "Rick" dancing to "Never gonna give you up".

Heh - kind of disappointing end to the countdown. I'm left handed
Kudos on talking Razor into making a custom controller for a free-to-play game though.
