1a. The image is a jumble, with bits of other designs thrown in to conceal whatever it really is.
1b. Image possibly refers to a design that utilizes parts of all the designs shown.
2. The date (or more specifically, the year) in which Artemis IV is released.
3. The numbers in the Comstar fake email are all Prime numbers (except 731, which is the sum of three prime numbers, or 17x43).
My first personal guess is that it's the announcement is for the base chassis of the Chameleon.
Outside of not mounting missiles (although it can), a Chameleon is 'the' trainer-of-choice within the Inner Sphere, and likely would be a perfect starter for new players considering it's role. If you also pick through Sarna's wiki, the same year that Artemis IV was developed was also the year Nicholas Cameron got married. Outside of that & later on becoming First Lord, he's also famous for hiring the developer of the HPGs. And she had a rather interesting adventure that involved a Chameleon (getting chased by it, and then helping blow it up).
Alternatively, as my second guess, we might be seeing a new map then the one's already in the trailers, and it's a Comstar HPG Station. Mostly for all the same reasons above (developer of the HPG, the fact we see the same. old. map. background. every. time, and that large 'A' class HPGs are sometimes referred to as Prime stations). That and, iirc, the numbers shown are those from the Dark Age when the HPG network failed, and are part of the 'virus'.

I was wondering, did anything significant happen on the BT timeline that it will be when the timer runs out? (ie a mech went into production or something).

Wonder if that hint at #12 being an 85 tonner is even related to this...

Ah, well, given that hint (the HPG bit), I'm going to go with a Star League 'mech that Comstar used and equipped no fewer than 2 Artemis IV systems: the Highlander 732b: Jump capable at 90 tons; Gauss Rifle; LRM 20 (w/ Art IV); SRM 6 (w/ Art IV); and a couple of medium lasers.
Sure it's crazy --- maybe even tinfoil hat crazy --- but fun.
I say Highlander. I'll admit that the Unseen crowd is making good points too . . . all in good fun.
