Would people be opposed to a Hero Jagermech that sports the urbanmech-in-a-power-loader look?

Hmmm... hadn't really paid all that much attention to the pic for the fins to really register. You could have a definite point there. There is a possibility that they will be considered part of the arm, but, depending on the actual hit boxes, it could turn me off of running them at all. Aside from the JM6-A, they don't look like they'll do anything something else can't already do better if the side torsos are that vulnerable.

As was stated earlier, the DD is an upgraded model over the basic 6S with Lostech in heavy usage with it. It also should cost much more than the 6S. Beyond that, I would think that they needed to have at least three models to put in the game to enable you to level the efficiencies.

I guess this one lost me a little. How can the Jaegermech be all that much faster? It comes with the same stock engine as a K-2 and should max out at the same size which is a 315. Maybe I am missing something? It looks to me that it will be the same speed as any of the catapults..

Because they can give them additional hardpoints to make them different.
Russ said in a Twitch.tv livestream that 6 AC/2s might be a possibility.

That is a build I'd like to play around with on Smurfy. It would be interesting to see the heat scale and how much ammo you could jam into that puppy. I think I'd call that build either Flakwagon or Bofors.

Oh Holy Mother of F***
I would NOT want to run into that.

I feel like the JM6-A will be the most interesting owing to it's unique hardpoint layout (unmatched by any other Heavy mech). You should also be prepared to fight dual AC-20 Jagers who will be much faster than their K2 counterparts and able to shoot up/down a slope!
Here comes the JM6-A "mini-atlas" with 2 UAC5's, 2 SRM6's, and 2 MLs... Good times

The stock loadouts have 4 ballistic hardpoints, that's true. BUT
- the JM6-DD and JM6-S have the exact same hardpoint allocation so most players expect them to get additional hardpoints
- I heard Russ Bullock say that 6 AC2s might be a possibility last week during a Twitch.TV event

I'm guessing here, but I don't think they mean max theoretical speed, I think they mean that since they aren't forced to use a standard engine, they can jam the biggest XL they can fit into that bad boy, and still have weight left over for their two AC/20s.
I could be wrong, though.

right, it will only be "faster" when equipping a larger XL engine, sine the Dual AC20 K2 must use a standard engine.
