Were Lrms Changed?

Playing a few games after patch makes me think lrms were changed.

I use 2x a-lrm15 and i have more damage then prepatch, more kills and need a lot less salvos to kill a mech.
Also the lrms thrown at me do a lot more damage, is my impression ...

But maybe i had only a few lucky games after patch?

Same here, my 4xLRM15 cat is just a butcher now.

1K of damage seems standard, and two volleys shreds anyone. I'm nowhere nearly that good to be consistently laying that kind of beat down.

"You have see a hunchback charging you from 300m, you land one volley, he is now rubble, finish him off with you small lasers for the LULZ."

I'm racking up more damage then my max theoretical (ie: connect with 6 volleys, rack up 900 damage and 3 kills). Some of this could be that LRMs are criting like madhouse, but that's not good either.

I received frontal hit from LRM volley and somehow by back armour was gone as well. I was behind caldera's rock cover in Caustic valley and there were no enemies that could have shot me back.

Bugged, I say. Not surprising.

Frontal missile hits ******* up rear armor happened also prepatch and I am pretty sure it's part of the ****** up splash damage system.

As for Missiles doing more damage than before, especially at legs: That probably is related to the fix of leg damage from missiles/Explosives?

I agree pre-patch LRMs did damage and all was good, hurt but good. After patch 1xLRM20 and 1xLRM10 leg destroyed, both arms gone and CT blood red, was shocked and rage mode was activated.

I just got hit by 2 salvos of lrms and got *****. Twisted a fresh torso to soak up the damage and lost arm, cored rt and yellow internals. Then next shot i twisted a fresh left torso into the shot and died. Guy did 1700 damage with 4 15's. They are broken for sure.

I am getting absolutely demolished in my Hunchback since the new patch. I've also seen a big uptick in LRM boat damage numbers.

I switched over to my D-DC and things are better.

I had the same feeling, 3 LRM15 volleys are deadly now.

But also it seems like they made AMS more effective. It now shoots in little bursts when only few missiles are incomming, indicating that they get shot down quicker. It never did that before.

most of the shock seems to be from people not being used to taking missile damage to their legs, they're actually hitting them now and I'm seeing a lot more of my targets getting legged.

Neg, expect a hotfix. There is no way they can let this mistake go for 2 weeks.

Something is screwy because lrm volleys never would cockpit me in a catapult. But today...

Yeah, I run into some LRMs with a cicada and got totally obliderated. I never complained about LRMs before, but now something is wrong...

Yepp, tested it after got Stomped in my Pretty Baby with only a few Salvos. ( yes i have AMS)

Seems they dish out tons of Damage atm even with AMs, without cover any mech is stomped in seconds.

Now i have Build in my Beloved LRM 15 Artemis, and get Insane Numbers of Damage done.

For sure broken.

I'd really like to see some hard data, but from the matches I've played so far the LRMs do feel like they're hitting harder.

something very wrong with LRM at the moment. doing silly damage, killing people in 2 hits.

c'mon guys its just a high damage number! there is no such thing as unbalanced
