The game has crashed or stopped responding more today than all the times before this patch combined.
Map or HUD bugs in at least 50% of my games.
No noticeable improvements in gameplay or FPS.
I play with the highest settings and get ~45-55 FPS. Excluding when I get the 5-FPS bug, which, by the way, came back with this patch.

I am having a bit of a rubberband problem, but otherwise everything is working great. Haven't had any kaleidoscope issues or loss of hud or map.

Great Job!

Keep up the good work =)

Nothing changed:(

12 FPS as after April the 2 patch.

Nothing more to say really.

I just wonder: why, why can't you roll back to the march patch? What is so precious about the april changes?

Two weeks waiting for the new patch, hoping it will solve the FPS problem... and the problem is still there!
So, now we have to wait another two weeks, hoping for a miracle that probably will not come.
Have you decided that there were too many MWO players, so was better to cut some of them off?
Have You decided that to play MWO must necessarily possess a gaming beast PC?
Please, tell us what the hell you're thinking...

Yeah, FPS is still around 4-10 making the game *still* totally unplayable. I really can't see how this is not critical? I really wouldn't mind having a few problems with minimap or crashing from time to time or whatever if I'd be at least able to get a few good games here and there.
It never occurred to me that they might make something so stupid to this game that it'd become unplayable altogether. If I would've seen this coming, I never would've put a cent to this game.

Played several matches indicating am hitting target from point blank.
they cannot see me. as if i am not there. Other players saying what am i shooting at? One guy said he is seeing lots of weird mech behaviour now.
eventually they were killing me but no weapons hitting me but i am dying.
I have scores of zero damage,
Am a NZ player, have very high end gaming machine.
My ping is slightly higher now, (250)but only slightly.Have played fine previously with higher ping.. Something seriously wrong now..
. Last two patches have totally killed this game for me. Just initialized my founders package, 50 days to go, but now can no longer play.
Hope you can find fault as really like this game.

The annoying thing is that even people with very high-spec gaming rigs are also getting performance hits.

As an aside, this is especially clear on Tourmaline Desert - the crystals and ground keep rerendering every few steps. Since there are a lot of environmental structures, it means the scene is constantly being re-rendered. This was not so dramatic prior to this patch, and to me looks like at least a contributing factor, if not the reason, for the performance hit. The mechs also seem to have sharper textures than they used to prior to the patch, but I would play with a wireframe if it gave a consistent 40+ FPS, rather than a very beautiful slideshow. All graphics settings are at minimum, and I've used the Nvidia control panel to further reduce settings to the highest performance settings at all times. Overheat is not a problem, my computer isn't exactly heating up, so that's not a reason. And Task Manager reports a CPU usage of ~13% while ingame.

Something you guys did is making the GPUs work overtime here, and it's really gamebreaking. My FPS 2 patches ago was a stable 40-75 FPS, which did really well. We can't 'dial our graphics settings down' because we're already at minimum settings. I hope PGI makes performance a priority here (or at least the DX11 transition we were hearing talk about a few months back), it's irrelevant how well weapons hit if we can never see well enough to fire. And my rig is higher end than my clan mate's rig - and he's getting a stable 20 FPS now, while I'm getting wild fluctuations between 9 and 75.

That said, the kaleidoscope bug is gone. However, the map bugs are still there.

Please, if you have experienced rubberbanding since the april 2nd patch (not a fps drop), take a minute and note it in this post:

http://mwomercs.com/...since-42-patch/

Maybe this way we will get some attention. I please ask of you, lets not complain in there, just let know this exact thing is happening to you as well...

I played the first few matches with only a few rubberbanding problems, then I started having huge issues with fps drops, ping spikes and rubberbanding. I played matches where I would jump 200-300 meters. My fps would also drop from 45~50 down to 15~20.

I had these issues during battles, but also when I was alone during the beginning, middle and end of matches. Two maps I remember were Caustic and Alpine
Running mostly low video settings, same as the last patch.
running an Nvidia 550M
Advertised internet speed is 30mbps.

No FPS improvement with this patch, still 7-13 fps, so the game is unplayable. In march i could drive my commando smothly, now i can't even play with an atlas.

Excessive lag and rubberbanding. 1-3 second delays in seeing my chat message appear on screen or changing view modes/zooming. My own mech's view snaps around and I get a lot of movement warping. My settings have not changed, running on all low 35-60FPS.

Completely reinstalled, and FPS is still abysmal, making the game unplayable. PGI, please fix!

Game performance and rubberbanding rampant to alot of people since April 2 patch and the 16th patch has improved it a little but not to a point where gameplay is playable. I hope this gets a quick fix rather than waiting for another 2 more weeks and wasting everybody's premium time.

Reinstalled to see if that would fix the rubberbanding, no go.

This game ran perfectly fine on the morning of April 16th, I want to emphasize this. Later in the evening when I got home from work, I applied the patch, and the rubberbanding was rampant and made the game unplayable.

The previous patch's dramatic fps drop and packet-loss increase has not been fixed by the current patch in any way. Caustic, snow city, river city and forest colony are unplayably sluggish and drop commands constantly. The only maps that actually work at all are Tourmaline and Alpine, and they still suffer, though to a lesser extent.

This fix needs to be a top priority, and from my perceptions seems like a server-side issue. Looking forward to finally being able to play my HGN after weeks of 4fps, extreme rubberbanding with turning and aiming, and shots that don't deal damage, even post-HSR.

Keep the updates coming!

Same problem as before. I'm stuck at 4 fps on every map and throughout the match. But I'm fine (mid to high 20's) in training grounds. This is surely a bug cause I used to get above 20 fps in all maps until the prior patch and continuing with this one.

I hope this gets fixed soon because a month without MechWarrior really sucks.

Cheers.

This last update appears to have introduced a significant amount of "teleporting" from my perspective. Until the 4/16 patch I had only occasionally seen a player warp a short distance from one location to another. That player would have a very high ping time when the stats were viewed in game.

I played a half dozen games on Wednesday evening after patching and every single game had multiple mechs warping around the map. Most mechs were fine but up to 25% would warp. This was very different from the previous instantaneous short distance location corrections I have seen. I observed mechs just appearing from no where, disappearing then reappearing again. Now if only I could use that tactic on demand....

I also watched (wish I had video of this) a mech move exclusively by short range warping. The mech was moving along a path with the others on our team and would be static and then appear 15-20 meters forward of his previous location. He repeated this action for about 1/4 of the map before I broke off in combat and lost sight of him. It was like watching a chess peace move one square at a time. Very odd.

Last weekend the game was playing like a dream compared to Wednesday evening. However, I will say that my AC/20 shots are racking up more damage than before. I would estimate that the game reported roughly 10-15% higher damage than before. Maybe I just had a good night. :-)

Unfortunately this patch is now giving me the worst performance I've seen sinced OB

Game appears to freeze for a second and then I appear somewhere else, or facing a different direction.

This was happening every game from start to finish, intermittently. I had to switch it off last night it was so bad :P

Nothing else has changed, still on a thoroughly decent gaming PC with 30Mb fibreoptic from the UK
