I am an Nvidia GeForce user, so maybe this will help some people.

Rig: W7 64 bit OS, Intel i7 2700K, 16G RAM, GeForce GTX570.

With latest patch, went down to 4 fps (unplayable) from 40-50 fps in game.

Prior to patching game, updated Nvidia drivers to 314.22 - WHQL (3.25.13) - So the new game patch + latest Nvidia driver = unplayable game.

Re-installed previous non-beta driver 314.07 - WHQL (02.18.13) - New game patch + previous non-beta driver = Now the game runs smooth again! (back to approx 40-50 fps in game)

I'm on a relatively underpowered system (A laptop with i7-2670Q, 8GB DDR3 and a Geforce 555M) and I've been having trouble with my FPS lately, especially after the April 2nd patch that introduced these increased HUD issues.

The patch that had the best FPS for me was after March 19th patch, I could bump most of my settings to medium at 1366x768 and enjoy a good 40-50 FPS overall. Right now I'm lucky if I can stay above 30 FPS at lowest possible settings at 1280x720.

Though, when I disable HUD using Shift+F11, I get a nice 20-30FPS boost. There is definitely something between the HUD pipeline that is hogging all these resources.

I tried to roll back to 314.07 drivers as Snacklord did and I gained about 10 FPS. I'll be staying on this driver until the next patch.

Niko, can you reset the poll about rubberbanding please? Because i voted "no" but it was like over a month ago, before the infamous HM patch. I think also, having a more updated figure of the players experiencing this may make the devs acknowledge this as an issue, and let us know if theres any clue or progress as on how to fix it.

In river city near the water by the lower base I sometimes get huge drops in FPS down to almost 18 sometimes.

Horrendous rubber banding since April 2nd Patch - unplayable. Mech warps to 100/200m away every 10-15 seconds. Firing weapons has 3-5 second delay. Changing hud modes (night/thermal/zoom) has 5-15 second delay (or more).

Quote

  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
None - constant.

Quote

  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?

Nvidia 680 8Gb, high settings, surround, 5040x1050 - nothing changed for over 4 months.

Quote

  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
Average 130. Constant since closed beta. To Toronto server on PingTest, 1% packet loss, 3% Jitter, 132 ms ping.

Quote

  • System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])

Intel i7-920, OC 4GHz on water, Nvidia 680 8Gb, Draytek/Netgear routers (tried both - no change).

Quote

  • Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location

20Mbps, UK, Aberdeen.

Game was running very smoothly since closed beta - until the 2nd April patch. Literally made it unplayable overnight - no changes to ISP/System/Config - was running great day of patch. After patch - UNPLAYABLE!

Can someone please acknowledge the rubber banding/control lag issue? There is NO mention of it on any threads - devs are posting about disconnects and other bugs, but nothing about this rubberbanding/warping.

Much better performance compared to the last patch/hotfix.

- performance is about back to where it was prior to the last patch. Never had fps issues, fps still good.
- lag/rubber banding has been resolved.
- 1280x1024, very high, no blur, fullscreen
- Average 45 - 60 fps
- AMD PhenomII x4 965 BE@3.6GHz, 4GB RAM, AMD Radeon 7850 (13.1 Cats), Win7x64
- Cable 20/2Mb (previously 3/1Mb), ~70 ping, Texas

  • How had the patch generally affected your performance?
From steadily hovering between 45-60 fps to now being 60 at the start of a game and then when fighting occurs it drops all the way to single digits.
  • Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
As soon as fighting starts, or when the other team approaches the fps drops drastically. I have been testing with changing settings, restarting the game and then going into the testing grounds, where my framerate is a constant 60, as soon as I join a match however, the problems return with a vengeance.
  • What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
Used to be everything on High with AA 1680*1050, have now tried every permutation of settings I can think to try but to no avail, including full window/fullscreen and windowed.
  • Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
before; 60 in menus and 45-60 ingame. Now 60 in menus and testing grounds but down to single digits in actual games.
  • System specs
Spoiler
  • Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
10/10Mbit / Sweden

Since last patch with Geforce GTX550, and latest driver game is unplayable, I'm going to roll back drivers and see if that is helpful! Getting lag spikes and rubberbanding on most maps.

System: Amd A6 3.6Ghz
8GB memory
GTX550ti

Update: Rolled drivers back and game is now running smooth, no rubberbanding! THX for info on drivers!

- Terribly. I've seldom had issues with lag but this is just awful. Game is completely unplayable. I'll seem invisible for most of the match and then all of the sudden I'll take a ton of damage and die. Always says I did 0 damage. There's also a large amount of rubber banding and I'm unable to use the zoom, target lock or night/heat vision without random (but often considerable) delay.

-All the time. It's bad from start to instant-death finish.

-Video settings are on the highest level but have been that way since closed beta.

-60fps

-i7 930, hd5870, 6gb ram, win 7 x64

^same here. Plus, still get CTDs when exiting a match/testing grounds or during matchmaking search. The game is 100% unplayable. No more money from me.

How had the patch generally affected your performance?
Only been playing for a couple weeks and all seemed fine until this patch. Now I'm getting missing/polygon HUD, rubberbanding, teleporting, freezes and a crash.

Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
Any time from the beginning of a match to the end. Assorted maps. Crashed in the heat of battle.

What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
running medium. Swapped CPU and discrete card after my first game 2 weeks ago.. no change since then.

Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
Didn't check. Haven't noticed a terrible drop in FPS but don't know thw numbers.

So I fired up the game today all excited and found this:

latest patch has broken the game for me. Geometry changes as I approach hills, I can see through certain hills on Caustic Valley and Alpine esp. In the starting area and crater. I have all settings max on GTX 560 / i7, nvidia drivers 314.22.

I now suffer terrible lag and rubberbanding with a ping of 100. Before I had that ping, but not the issues. My weapons hardly register. I am located in the Netherlands w. 8mbps.

I did not try all the maps because frankly I cant play like this which is a shame since I just poured money into the game.

I only suffered the occasional random disconnect and hud issues before. How minor those issues were in hindsight compared to this new patch.

[edit:] Oh its worth to mention that zoom and V-zoom are very unresponsive too. I have to press a number of times to get the game to zoom.
