I've managed to strip the paint and i'm going to try again soon.

Also i've almost finished the stalker. I'm going to prep 3 more mechs after the stalker before I order another lance. also i might replace the blackjack on my list and move the centurion or the hunchback to that slot. i'm not sure yet.

I would do amazing things to those minis! *drool*

Edit: thought about doing the mechs in two halves with the break at the torso twist? I would take a dremel and hollow it out a bit and add magnets to make it twist!

your stalker's feet look boxier. was that a conscious modification? or is it the angle

Wow these are crazy awesome. How I would love to have a full set of all the mechs in the game (perhaps with extras of some >.>)

A lot of the MWO models just look so superior to the IWM models, like the Highlander, Spider, Stalker, Centurion...

If you ever start producing a Spider or Centurion for production cost sale I would love to jump in on that.

How much does it cost you about to churn out one of those beauties?

one figure costs me between 18 and 27 euro's individualy depending on the size. but if I combine multiple figures into one print it costs me less. hence why i printed 4 in one go. and why i wont print my next wave till I have the next 4 ready to go.

Any chance of knocking out the Dual/20 JM-6DD?

(Or better yet, is there any way to modify the basic file to "dome out" the Jagemechs head to fix that annoyingly flat profile Alex blessed it with? I truly feel it would be an awesome looking design, if the CT/Head wasn't so blasted flat)

There is always a way to modify a digital model. It however is more effort i'm willing to put into it especialy cause i quite like it the way it is. Also i have the model set up so i can swap out weapons at the push of a button so a dual ac20 build is no problem. I havent decided which variant i'm going to print yet.

well..... the JagerKanone is pretty much the bestest...... *bats eyes*
I have named mine Schwerer Gustav. And it's a case of pure :(
And I gotta figure out how to mod that file then.... the lack of "UrbanMechh Dome" is bothersome to me.....

Wow those look amazing. If the Battletech tabletop game is still in production you should sell the design system to them for lots of money.

though for pure looks, the JM-6A with either UACs or LB-Xs complimenting it's missile racks is probably the coolest.

Not to shake up the conversation here too much but I thought I'd jump in.

Hey Sentinel - this is Brent the Art Director over at BattleTech. I've been working behind the scenes build a map through the legal minefield of what can (and can't) be produced for both games, and I'd like to help where I can. Obviously we want to make sure all parties are respected and no one is slighted; the best way to do that is with open Commss so I invite you to ping me directly to discuss options in a completely above board (but off-forum) way. I can be reached at: brent@catalystgamelabs.com

I look forward to hearing from you.

I return you all to your regularly scheduled awesome mech shenanigans...
