Is that really a problem? A pretty big hint for me is when they blow up and fall over.

Speaks volumes about how much the meta fluctuates at the moment. A time when everyone was like "omfggggg **** lrm boats" and now if you walk out in an lrm boat people blink their eyes and go "lol omg an lrm boat" and snipe its head off.



LRMs were definitely worse when they were bugged to do too much damage. They were doing multiplied damage, unlike the PPC which basically needs a heat nerf. After playing some games today my slow 65kph Jagermech doged quite a few PPCs, whereas with the LRM apocalypse you were dead in a volley or two that pretty much only hit your mid torso every time.

yes this is really a problem when they remain standing, or just appear shutdown...

not to mention:

- no fix on blackscreen drop to desktop
- no fix on HUD bugs
- no fix on complete game freeze up

things that actually matter ^

Things that were mentioned will be hotfixed as soon as they can. I haven't actually crashed much at all since closed beta nor frozen, just an occasional hud bug.

Two of the three issues, are probably limited to your machine IMO (it happens, but it tends to occur not so often and/or related to overheating for me).

HUD bugs however...

its not my machine as the same things happens to alot of players, and i have spent time with PGI support going over everything, the freeze ups and drops to desktop are very rare for me but for other friends in game not so rare.

seriously PGI? A new Hero Mech with more Power for Boating (a normal PPC Stalker wasn't enough?) and a couple of Cockpit Items. That is everything you made in 3 WEEKS???? I can't believe it. Maybe fix some serious Bugs???? Oh sorry, i forgot that fixing Bugs is a skill PGI don't have... ;) I'm so disappointed. :( :)

Yes and this Patch is just a big joke. Some overpriced MC Stuff and 6 Bugs fixes + the Option to repaint your Hero Mech. *slowclap* WoW...calling this a patch is just..WoW :)

The patch that just hit is most likely not the patch that they were programming during the past three weeks. That is more likely to be the patch we get on the 21st, or the first one in June.

You mentioned something about not having bug fixes in it. Obviously it does have bug fixes in it. Or maybe you don't consider crash to desktop a serious bug?

So... an extra week to do what? Delay the patch a week and in that week accomplish so little that it's one of the lightest patches thusfar (so much so that they had to include a part of the notes for the next patch as padding), at a time when the game is in serious need of fixing.

I started patching, read the patch notes, then quit the patcher. The game isn't fun with the current lack of balance, and PGI makes absolutely no attempt to improve it.

A couple of bug fixes (if the forums are to be believed, the game has even more bugs now), and absolutely no attempt to balance the awful meta. (Which is awful because it's a fixed meta; the balance is so broken that the meta only changes via patches.)
