Update 12.02.14 on page 6

Started to make this model a while ago, and have just started to work on it again, and might texture it over time. The legs and a few other parts seem out of scale, so they need to be tweaked at some point. Blender has been used to make and render this model.

These first three images are of the model at the time of posting this:

Will put more renders in posts

great modelling, keep up the good work.

the design of the arms allways made me cry.

if the madcat's arms wouldnt look like the tube of my vacuum cleaner it would be way better. :D

I like the little details. Coming from a mechanical draftsman POV I like the cooling fins attached to the outside of the laser emitter. Very nice!

I'm not doing them, because they would be a pain in the a*** and would probably cover up most of the other stuff :)

Absolutely love your work. This could be THE preeminent Timberwolf tribute/modelling project - detail is exquisite - yet also faithful to the classic MW2 mech appearance.

Really looking forward to seeing this progress further!!

This is super impressive. One thing that has always bothered me about battletech in general is how things like missile reloads get moved around through tiny little arms and legs to their launchers. Most art/models simply ignore it and just draw 1 reload into the launchers so I am getting a definite kick out of seeing someone actually think through how the reloads and such might work.

Will definitely follow this, keep up the good work man :D
