Probably not much faster than the Awesome (Excluding the AWS-9M)
I don't have the Stalker stock engine rating handy, but MWO wiki lists up to 59KPH http://www.mwowiki.o...=Stalker_STK-3F

From MWO Wiki:
"1.) Max Rating cannot exceed 400 or ~8.5x the Mech's tonnage, whichever is lower.
2.) Max Engine Power Rating:
Light Mech = 1.4x Stock-Engine (round up to nearest 5 or 0)
Medium Mech = 1.3x Stock-Engine (round up to nearest 5 or 0)
Heavy Mech = 1.2x Stock-Engine (round up to nearest 5 or 0)
Assault Mech = 1.2x Stock-Engine (round up to nearest 5 or 0)"
The announced Stalker variants all come with an engine rating of 255 (the -5S comes with a 255 XL).
255 * 1.2 = 306 -> rounds to 310
Engine rating = ('Mech tonnage) * walking speed (MP) -> walking speed (MP) = (Engine rating)/('Mech tonnage)
1 MP = 1 hex per turn = 30 meters/10 seconds = 10.8 kph
Cruising/walking speed (kph) = 10.8 * (310/85) = 39.388 kph
Maximum/running speed (kph) = 1.5 * (cruising speed) = 59.082 kph
The biggest engine that will go into a Stalker is a 310 (or 310 XL), and that will give it a maximum speed of just over 59 kph on straight-and-level terrain.

"“Support needed over here; I can’t hold this Atlas! Help me, Stalker!”
“On it.”
Turning towards the sound of distress: stop, no lock due to ECM, then slammed down as the enemy Atlas unloaded its own weapons into the Stalker, blinding him from the concussions and throwing off his large laser strikes into the nearby Dragon, carving the arm cannon from the damaged mech. Glancing at his useless LRMs and unable to bring his own systems online past the jamming that caused his HUD to dance and fade, he gritted his teeth.
"Sorry, but you're on your own."

The upper torso (or whatever you would call it on a mech), looks wierd. You have this big and bulky mech with this little chicken neck. It looks totally out of place and sort of ruins the look for me.
I was hoping it would look more like the "neck" portion of the Cat where the cockpit area (main fuselage) looks more firmly connected. In the screenshot, it looks sort of like the main cockpit area is resting on this little connection point. Looks, well, silly, IMO.
For reference, take a look at the "Assault" mechs page with the Stalker looking up. The neck doens't even look connected. It looks like the upper torso is "floating" over the lower torso.
Really let down by these screenshots. It doesn't have that "solid" look the original art had to it. Sort of looks like a bigger Raven. The upper torso are that connects to the lower torso area looks nothing like the orignal art on page one of this thread. The inital art on page 1 of this thread looks solid, like a walking tank. The screenshots look like the new Stalker upper torso put on top of a storks body. It doens't even look like the two areas go together. Gahhh...please, Devs, make it look like the art from page 1 of this thread...I beg of you!!
I'm probably just being over-analystical...lol

I hope there will be any weekly screenshot so I can put it on my windows backround instead of Catapult .

It just looks a little too tall, with the torso-twist joint looking, well, skinny - in addition to the two 'arm' missile pods being mounted a little too high.
I've done a *very* quick photochop of what changes I'd make to bring it a bit closer to the concept picture from pg1 of this thread:

These are of course, just my educated guesses. 3d artists do their best to stick to the concept, but at times they need to tweak the design.
