If you've got the cash buy the better card and then sell yours for what you paid for it. If not, wait a bit and a similar deal will come along again.

Went to Canada Computers today to see about getting a copy of Win 7 HP 64 Bit that's on sale till Wednesday for $95+Tax, turns out you can't buy Win 7 Separate, you need to buy it in a bundle with a piece of hardware like a HDD, Mobo, Etc. Win 8 on the other hand they can sell Separate. Stopped in to a small computer place at Westmount and Highland near where my sister lives and they have Windows 7 HP 64 Bit there for $104+Tax and no need to bundle, they are out of stock till tomorrow. the thing is, Win 8 is $110 at Canada Computers and the guy at the small computer place said $99 for Win 8 although there's a chance he could be mistaken. anyway, I'm debating on Win 8, Should I or should I stick to Win 7? NO I'M NOT GOING TO PIRATE IT, I'M GOING TO GIVE BILL GATES MORE MONEY!

Edit: as for Case, The Case the guy had at work is a no go, his boss wants the guy to rebuild it for his kid, the guy might have another one in the storage room at Home, He'll go digging around and let me know tonight.

Side note: Going to start Volunteering at the Computer recycling place at the working center tomorrow to get experience taking apart and putting back computers

As long as you can cope with a different UI.

There is nothing wrong with Win 8

Pretty much this. I use windows 8 and it's fine for most things. It does not however like a number of older games (fallout 3, bioshock 1&2, and the original Crysis come to mind) but they can be convinced to work with a few simple tweaks. I will however say office 2013 is an abomination and should be purged from the earth with fire.

Just wondering, but what's the difference between windows 7 home premium That's intended for distribution with refurbished Computers and a New OEM Copy of Win 7 HP 64 Bit? I Ask cause someone offered me a copy of Win 7 HP 64 Bit that came with his Refurb Media Computer and a Blueray Drive/DVD Burner with Lightscribe for $100 O.B.O. Win 7 has been Opened but not used.

I am pretty certain both of those OS will run games gloriously, OEM bonds to MOBO,HDD, maybe even another piece of hardware, after first activation, but this can be easily hurdled by the toll free MS number, say one day you went to 990FX from 970board, you would have 10 mins extra work on the phone..............to have a fresh OS.......whether it be by install or reactivate, it doesn't matter.........the retail will do 2X installs or 3 IIrc, I am thinking that's the biggest difference.

Started volunteering at the Computer recycling Place at the working center today, dismantled 4-5 computers in like 4.5-5 Hours. going back there again tomorrow, should be able to get a case there for like $5-10 and may or may not be able to get Win 7 installed there for just the Licencing fees, I'll find out more tomorrow, I know for sure they do ubuntu and Win XP there.

Link to website of the place if anyone is interested: http://www.theworkin...r-recycling/178

Edit: just Decided to "Youtube FX-4100 MWO", Here are 2 Videos i found:
amd fx 4100
gtx 650
8gb ram
1 tb hdd
500 watt psu

FX-4100, GTX 480

Edit 2: replied to First Video and asked:

Hi, I was just wondering what graphics settings you have it set at and what your FPS (Frames Per Second) is like? I'm planning o doing a build simalar to the one you have listed except for a GTX 560 Ti(2 Gb) and a 700W PSU, for HDD's will be 2 500GB and a 320GB, Ram will be 8GB of 1600MHZ (2x4 Sticks of Kingston HyperX), you don't have Mobo listed but I will be using a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 and I plan on OCing my FX-4100 up to 4.2-4.2GHz

He Replied Back:

For 1, I have it at medium at 1080p at 45-60 fps (textures at ultra). for 2, the 560 ti is not bad, however zotac are the only people who still make them. I would recommend the card I put in the description at the very top, it is 10 bucks less and its faster. Next, you dont need a 700 watt psu. But other than that your build is great[

card he put in the description at the very top: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814202004

Just found out looking on the Gigabite site for my mobo that it's Rev 1.0 or 1.1 I got (There's also 1.2, 3.0 and 4.0). and I picked up a Free Sound Blaster Live! (CT4830) that I removed from a old Computer here at the Computer Recycleing Center. I Might also be able to get a Festival FE11A Case also or some other case from here also.
Edit: Also picked up a Old Microsoft Sidewinder PC Game Controller there also that was going to go to scrap, good thing the Soundcard I picked up got a Game Port on it...although according to Wikipedia

Quote

Microsoft Windows discontinued support for the game port with Windows Vista, though USB converters can serve as a workaround.

Not a problem, i have a Game Port to USB adapter that came with my Logitech Wingman Extreme Digital 3D (J-ZA10) From Value Village or wherever

A couple bits of plex with holes drilled to match the holes in the 2.5" drive and longer screws is a much cleaner way to solve that particular issue.

Or stick it to the case with double sided tape in 5 seconds and never think about it again.

So Lord Lhetto it sounds to me like u are ready for the build process soon enough, case aside. If you hit any snags or hiccups feel free to fire a question out there.
