You've probably answered this before but what printer did you use? How did you get the files to print and into a printable state. I was wondering not only for action figures but I would also like to make Tabletop pieces as the ugly table top minis are a part of keeping me away form the table top.
Scratch that you posted the printer the last page. I really want to buy these. So much market potential PGI, IGP is missing out on.

Man oh man, I'd kill for something like that, maybe a lance that includes an Atlas, a Marauder, a Timber Wolf, and a Kit Fox...
(I have miniature LEGO models of those but they're so old and inaccurate it's not even funny)

Seems you found it already, but for anyone else looking, I use the Ultimaker 1.

To make printable, you need to clean the geometry up so that there are no holes, no double faces, closed objects, and printer considered (sizes, tolerances, and bottom up printable)

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that none of the FDM (Plastic jet) printers out there are capable of printing TT sized minis. It's just too small. Which is partially a reason why the atlas is 6" tall. If you want TT, you might want to go to a printing service like shapeways which has superior printers that can do that scale. A few people on here have tried that with some success.

yea to sell it legally it wouldn't be worth your time, first you would have to find out just who has that license, could be anyone from Microsoft to whoever owns the game material now. I'm sure PGI has looked into it and decided not to for the moment. IT's not worth it to try to do it on the sly as someone will eventually blab. One thing I always wondered about is if you did it for free but charged for the material replacement. Be neat if you made a couple donated to PGI for free as a prize in some contest...but I wouldn't bother to sell them as lawyers are very expensive. Nice job on it looking forward to seeing others.

Funny you should mention that, I did offer to make one for the launch party as a contest/prize. But it just never went through.

I did make 2 Sarah Jenners for PGI & Sarah's family though. Might do a giveaway/contest at some point later when I get less busy, I still have 1 printed, unassembled Jenner that was a prototype for JR7-D (S) sitting around in pieces.

I get confused by your weird moon measuring units so I first thought it'd be 6 FOOT tall. Still, pretty damn awesome.

You just can't win, I'm Canadian so I use metrics. But I figure there would be less confusion by posting in inches.

On the internet?
There is always more confusion. ;)

(for the record, I am a US citizen, raised on inches/feet - and I still get the foot/inches symbols mixed up)

Wow, it's been a year almost!

I've updated the lost in thread pictures onto the front page of the various incarnations and related art.

Probably going to wait and see what happens with clan mechs... but whatever it is it'll need to be challenging in some way different than the Jenner + atlas.
