Picking on the infamously militarily incompetent Lyrans after they got thumped hard in two massive wars isn't much more impressive. I mean, on one hand, they should've known what to expect, but on the other - Lyrans. Scavenging behavior is, I suppose, within the character of the Wolves' totem animal.

I remember reading one time when the top members of a Capellan warrior house met a single star of clan and lost so badly that they were seen as useless bondsmen so the survivors were killed as to not waste time and other resources on any of them. And as for your "house', well we have 300 years of you doing nothing.

I'm not sure if I understand. The disgrace of some warrior house mechwarriors is related to the preying of Clan Wolf on badly weakened or fundamentally fragile states how?

I respect them, though in war well, "All is fair in love and war". Some of their tradition and mentalities blindsides them. Tukayyid is a pretty good example of this.

However I have a very high respect for Wolf (especially Wolf-in-Exile). Those guys are clever and fierce in war, and honorable in peace. I would gladly lend a hand from my Merc corp to their aid.

That being said, no disrespect meant to the other Wardens (Especially ghost bear).

The crusaders though, some humility would go a long way for them IMO. I think they need some time to look in the mirror, re-align priorities.

You had better watch yourself pal, now I have your number, and in my crosshairs. I think I might let Zell slide for you.

Call me a wolf again freebirth and I will feed you your own mech. ((RP OFF: The warrior houses are quite important to the confederation. I hate to link to Samara but it has the better info on its site. http://www.sarna.net.../Warrior_Houses)

I'm well aware of the importance of the Warrior Houses to the Confederation. Their disgrace remains theirs.

Easy there Reaver, I'm sure he didn't mean to call you a Wolf, ([mumble] though in all honesty he should take it as a complement, JK dude [/mumble]) I think he was just talking about the warriors engaged, not you. Besides Reaver, we all know he can't finish that thing by himself. And I can think of more productive things he could be doing instead of eating, like polishing our mechs, cleaning the bays, stuff like that.

I would not trust a freebirth from the confederation to polish my belt buckle.

I am a Davion supporter and i agree with this Tube Born. But we must agree that the only thing the Clans have proven is that Kerensky's vision was flawed. They became just as bad as the IS houses. And how they handled Clan Wolverine is a case in point.

Then make him lick the damn bay clean, or something, as I am sure I can use his mech for other duties.

Easy there fella. We must agree to NOTHING of the sort. The short sightedness of the other Clans was the only flaw. Their unwillingness to adapt to different battle grounds caused their failure.Tukayyid was the prime example of this.

well if the battle tech cartoon is any indication, the jade falcon clan is a bunch of whiney inbred murderers. they shoot farmers because they have farming mechs with no guns on them. they shoot at anything that moves, and at the first sight of a fair fight (by battle value not raw number of targets) they claim you cheated and orbitally bombard.

for proper game balance (ala the clan numbers in bt to is numbers) we need to restrict playable clans to 1 member per 100 is players. easily accomplished with trials systems, aka you have to earn your spot in the clans in combat. the clans have better tech, but htey dont have anywhere near the inners spheres raw numbers of mechs or pilots. clans = protoss, is = zerg.

I'm not really sure why anyone would want to play as a clanner. But then again I typically prefer playing as a disadvantaged faction (underdog). That's part of the reason I enjoy the Imperial Guard in WH4000.

The Battletech cartoon is a "poorly reviewed holovid series" according to TRO3050U. Era report 3052 has some info on what really happend.

I think that it would be far easier to cap the number of Clan players in missions, that way you won't have people missing out on playing as a Clan warrior.

I love trial style combat and hate ganging up on people. I also love the challenge of having to overcome a large force.

But is it really a challenge when that larger force is a playground full of preschoolers? I mean, don't get me wrong... I'll pilot one of the anklebiters all day long. Hopefully you won't notice me on the monkeybars trying to DFA you while you walk past.

Perhaps I should call for a trial of Annihilationagainst the whole of the commonwealth. But then again as barbarous as you lot are you will do that anyway.
