He's clearly not talking about people giving legitimate feedback. It's the idiots crying about all the idiotic things they cry about that he's talking about.

And just because someone doesn't complain endlessly about every minute detail like this is their baby, it doesn't mean he has his head in the sand. Leave it to someone without the ability to take the criticism he's so willing to give to come up with such a weak, dismissive argument.

I am, very much like Kiel, sick and tired of seeing a bunch if entitled crybabies whine about how the game is one form of broken.

Call me an ostrich, that doesnt mean this place isn't full of crybabies.

As long as thats the case thats fine and I would retract my comment. And yeah I agree on that last line.

simple minds are easily blown.

A hero jenner is going to cost, what? $7, $10?
I'm pretty broke but I think I can come up with $10. That does not make me Bill Gates.

So I've got $7...my first thought isn't to write a check for $7 to donate to a charity...What is my actual motivation to take my measily $7 and decide to find a charity to donate it to? Oh MW:O has a hero mech to honor a young girl that died of cancer and is donating the proceeds to a cancer charity...I play MW:O and like buying mechs....

Is PGI promoting the idea of charitable donation a good or bad thing?

tell ya what, don't worry your easily blown mind a single second longer about it...

So....you don't care about the girl or cancer research, you just want the Jenner Hero.

Don't care as long as his money goes to the charity.

Wow, I am really disappointed.
No Orion this month, instead some surprise mech with no art or real anouncment, Also the Firebrand hero mech is a real letdown, it is no "real" Jäger because of just two ballistic slots but caters to the current dominace of energy weapons.

Dear PGI:

Please stop Development of this game immediately. These whiney babies don't deserve any more of your hard work and efforts.

Cash in your chips and walk away. Find some other project with an audience who might actually give you all the care and consideration that your talents deserve.

Set fire to the servers on the way out the door. Leave nothing behind.

Seriously though, how dare these jerks question you. You gave us a surprise mech that we were not expecting.

On behalf of the community that still has faith in you, Thank you for this gift. Keep up the hard work.

Dude. ALL game forums are like this. lol.

Ironic how you don't see that it's a mech many requested because it'd be able to be something we can't otherwise build.... or, uh, see, for that matter. If you don't understand any of what I just said, that's fine, that means this mech wasn't made for you.

No, you obviously missed my earlier post that clearly stated I refuse to buy Hero mechs except in this specific case. thanx for playing/trolling.

You like finding band-**** on your pizza? That too is unexpeced content.

How dare they make a new mech in their free game for you. Those ********. Better sue them, you deserve it.

@Vasces Diablo

Third Person conveys a view advantage. They see over terrian and objects you can't so when you see them they already have their shot lined up on you. In the past it has been exploited to great effect and this is why there is great concern.

I understand that, I've played my fair share of 3rd person games (WoT etc...). But I've found in this game that its rare to not know where the enemy is already. He may be around the corner ready to line up a shot, but 99% I know that already because I have 7 team mates (soon to be 11) feeding me info along with just basic observation. So I'm not going around that corner. I can count on 1 hand the number of times in this game I've been utterly surprised to find a mech somewhere I wasn't expecting.

Now again, I'm assuming at this point that there will be some type of penalty for playing in 3rd person, I don't know that for sure. But if there is one if some kind, i don't see 3rd person being that big of an advantage.

Ethics.... NOT working as intended.

So Bryan, what's it like working for a scheming, dishonest, and thieving company like PGIGP?

I doubt they are any of the above. It's an age old truth that anything one can attribute to evil is twenty times more likely to have been born of incompetence.

I'm really surprised by that $h1t$t0rm about the Orion. For me the Quickdraw announcement is way more interesting, because it probably means at least 3 more IS mechs (and new artwork). I already know that Orion is announced and going to appear sooner or later, now just knowing that it wasn't scrapped for some reason is enough for me.

So you refuse to buy hero mechs or directly support charity anonymously, but will buy hero mechs when you can run around going "HEY LOOK I SUPPORTED CHARITY!"

A lovely person you are.

I'm disappointed at the mech switcharoo. Been waiting on the Orion since it was announced, and it would've been nice to actually have a brawler in the Heavy class. Looks like it's being replaced with a Heavy JJ Treb with an ECM option. Not my cup of tea.

We've also been telling you since Closed Beta that 3rd Person was a bad idea. Guess what? Still a bad idea. Good to hear you're wasting time on it, though.

PGI has already stated they will make the 3rd in a place where you cant see above terrain, but even if so, the only advantage you'd gain in this case is directional facing.

Though with godmode sensor you might as well have 3rd person already.

Yes? If you truely cared about a charity you would donate without requiring a "reward" to go with it.

Here is the thing. I don't care to contribute to the charity. I contribute to other charities, and feel no need to go out of my way to do so now.

But if I can spend some money and have it go to a charity and still get a mech I would otherwise, then it is a value add that makes it worthwhile to me. I'm not heartless, but I only care a little about this particular cause.

Side note: This has nothing to do with my sympathies for the family involved. Losing a child is a terrible thing and my heart goes out to them personally.

Whether through idiocy or premeditation, doesn't make it right.

No mistake. We just haven't shown you the art yet. ;)

Bryan, someone at PGI is in possession of a truly dizzying intellect. And I'm not sure that is a compliment! :P

Quickdraw, huh? So does that mean we are getting the worst Battletech weapon of all time? Single-Shot Missile Launchers? (Which oddly weigh as much as a launcher WITH a feed system, PLUS an extra .5 ton for the single shot of missiles?) I sincerely hope you guys skip or modify that variant.

Well, be curious how it translates. Seems to make my Dervish less likely as a Medium though.

Agreed, never said otherwise. Indeed, my opinion of PGI & MWO is that PGI is not the MW developer we wanted, their the ones we're.... getting. Doesn't make it right, just makes it what it is: we're stuck, so we have to make do, or not, as we choose.

4, the NGNG podcast said "we have 6 finished unannounced battlemechs" which would mean Victor is #1 and Quickdraw is #2, leaving 4 unannounced battlemechs remaining. For anyone saying "well hero mech or champion mech" that is a variant of a battlemech technically speaking.

CLANS, they are coming. 4 battlemechs unannounced, iconic ;)
