You are right, because THAT failure happened when they decided to go F2P
*shrugs* Practically everyone is F2P these days. It's REALLY hard to compete with Free if you're not. While it may not have been the best choice for you and me, but it's very likely the best choice for the game from a business standpoint. They wouldn't get a fraction of the Random Folks without it, and the Battletech {Noble MechWarriors} simply aren't numerous enough.

and then again when they went with Cryengine instead of Unreal
In retrospect, that was indeed a terrible choice (and they've said as much), but there was no reason to think it would be such a mess at the time. Cryengine powers some awesome games, after all.

and then again by leaving closed beta too soon
Here I strongly disagree. The game was - and is - entirely playable and lots of fun. You can't stay closed forever, and opening up the game allowed for additional revenue to support development.

and then again with coolant-gate
Well, the initial version WAS technically P2W, but only a very little bit. Slippery slopes and all that, sure, but it wouldn't have broken the game as it was.

and then again with pushing back community warfare
Now, this is just stupid. Come on. You think they just decided to push it back to **** you off? Obviously, it wasn't ready. The real failure would have been releasing a version of Community Warfare that just didn't work.

and then again with the demise of General Discussion
Because that just destroyed the game. It may have pissed people off, but I garauntee it didn't even register a tiny blip on their bottom line. Forum Folk are a tiny, tiny portion of the playerbase, and even then, people have adapted just fine.

and then again when they said clans will be in at least 90 days AFTER community warfare
Again, releasing things
before they are ready is much, much worse than delaying the release. Didn't you just say they left Closed Beta too early? If they'd released these earlier and not working, would you not be complaining that they released these features too early?

and then again with the force feeding of third person view, etc.
This remains to be seen. Don't get me wrong, I hate the whole idea of 3rd person, and I suspect it'll be a travesty. However, while it may wreck the game for me, it may also may make them a whole lot more money by making the game better for a lot more people. They're a business, making more money is what makes them successful. The jury is out on whether or not this is a failure of management or not - we just won't know until the deed is done.
