But u still seem to be missing or ignoring 1 MAJOR balance issue atm.
Boating. Your never gunna get weapons balanced correctly when u can boat as much as we can atm. Any weapon balanced to not be OP when boated becomes usless when not boated, the gap beyween the 2 is to large atm.
You need to fix boating by ether reducing the heat cap and or changing the hardpoint system. This has been sugested and polled loads of times , more so in the lats few weeks thanks to the high alpha and poptart meta. There have even been other idea spread aroudn to help fix it, like stacking penalties. You have plenty of options to fix the issue, why are u not trying them ?

We don't know what the mech will be called. It might be the JR7-CNCRSUX variant or has a custom paint-job with "Cancer Sucks" down the side for all we know. It might have absolutely no connection to Sarah (and for legal reasons, probably shouldn't). They've released very little information except "we're doing something". Which in my worthless opinion, is better than nothing.
Whatever they call it, having your name immortalized in some way, in this case as a mech in an online game, is never a bad thing. Even when all the proceeds or whatever amount they are going to do goes towards charity. The alternate would be putting her name on a billboard on one of the maps or having an NPC standing around with her name over it. I'll take the Jenner as it will generate revenue and help a worthy cause.

QFT. You can bank on that. I'll be done with playing MWO any further as soon as 3PV patch is implemented.
So why are you and people who are so anti 3rd person bothering to play now? I'm totally against 3rd person, but I've known it was coming from the first time they told us it was coming whether we liked it or not. If you really mean that and not as some childish foot stamping breath holding stunt, then quit now. Whether we want it or not, whether it's abusable or not, whether people on the forums threaten to quit over it, we are getting 3rd person.
So just quit now, or learn to accept it's coming. Do you think they will stop it because a few people threaten to quit? They have ignored the massive outrage and 90% poll against it with thousands of votes. IGP thinks this will get more players. So quit now or accept it. We'll have 3rd person before a lot of things we have asked for on these forums, because we get what IGP wants not what we want.

so if people who would not spend money on charity buy that mech thats a bad thing?
It's the principle of it. People going on about oh how sad a tragedy it is, when all they care about is the special mech and potentially the warm fuzzy feeling they'll get from other people seeing them in one. "ooh you must be a GREAT guy, giving money to charity".
I often wonder you know, how different these forums would be if there weren't the ability to "Like" posts. I'm certain there are many who write not what they feel or think, but what they think will get the most Likes. It's the same sort of thing with this. I just feel that truly honest, charitable donations are done privately and without fanfare. If they're not, they're done for entirely the wrong reasons.

Rear mounted weapons. But you said that Cryengine has problems with back-facing cameras? How is this supposed to work?
Just like every other mech with rear-facing weapons... they will all be turned to face forward.
They already did this for a massive number of designs including Atlas, Dragon, Cataphract, Centurion and more...

I dont understand all the critics, Testserver will come b4 any of the big updates and right so.
Why dont you rejoice that you can help PGI making the game better, more balanced, more playable, more entertaining?
MISSILE!

Reading the quickdraw variants doesn't really entice me to want one. Might just be me but they are all the same. Unless they go radical with the hardpoints then can't see me getting one.

This is a classic example of lack of communication. Weren't you saying just last month the Orion was coming this month? what changed? Was there a problem that saw it pushed back? Is it for some Community Warfare reason perhaps?
And once again, bletch at 3rd person. It's much easier to poptart when you can draw a bead on the target while still behind your cover, the JJ nerf won't matter because the poptarts won't need to fly as high to get a shot on target, just enough that their main weapon systems clear that cover. It's part of what made it so insufferable in MW4.

This is open beta... we're playing on a "test server" now. Can't you see the level of stupid?
"Test servers" only exist in a released game. Has MWO been released, or is it still in beta test?

You left the text the same colour blue.
How after multiple "improvements" have you kept it at the same damned hard to read colour?
Do you not play the game? I don't know how big of a task it'd be to change it but really...
(I haven't checked to see if the (I)nfo on the large map is still screwed up (a relatively minor gripe, but still..)

Really looking forward to the artwork.
I've been so looking forward to the Orion that the initial news felt like a kick in the groin... But the more I look at the QD, the more I'm liking it. Essentially a trebuchet + 10 tons... Lightweight weapons, good speed, jets? Pretty sure I can find a few mech bays for this one

Looked at the Quickdraw bait and switch for the Orion...
Looked at the card number entered for MC...
Looked at Quickdraw, 5 ton lighter version of Catapult that we need like holes in our heads...
Looked at transaction for variation on mech I've wanted for this game since I started...
...and then canceled transaction.
Thought you should see how shenanigans like this can and do cost you money: no matter how badly I want that RFL, I'm not going to support developers so intent on shoooting themselves in the foot with both barrels every chance they get. FEEDBACK! Have fun with that...
EDIT I should also note that means I won't be playing MW:O much, if at all for a month or two. Am I ragequitting, no - it's beta, I'll be waiting for PGI to shape this heap into something worth releasing, right up until they release it, heap or no. Mainly, I was really looking forward to the Orion but more-so the RFL hero to save up for it and to make builds I could not yet make: but with the proposed releases we're getting there's no point for me to pay cash, play, and then save CBills for crap I don't want. See you folks on Neverwinter and War Thunder, where the devs actually give half a damn and know how to find their keisters without need of two hands and a map.

Bryan, your teams worst quality - Clear communication. I'm shaking my head for all of the players right now.. We were all expecting the Orion and you let us down again.
You [redacted] are impossible to please. They surprise us with a mech that has not even been announced yet (this is a GOOD THING) and you complain. They did not say the Orion is canceled. We got a present, and an interesting one at that.

This art work talked of could be clan could be mediums or lights, other heavies
Been demonstrated several times now, that artwork means nothing to the release date and announcements can be changed at the drop of a hat.
Not even a sorry folks due to monkies biting the head graphic designer on the nuts, the Orion will be delayed
Just wham, have a Quickshot.
and btw we're also putting in 3rd person view that only about 1 in 10 of the community wants, and 50% don't want.

Gee yeah because the Quickdraw does everything a Catapult can and we don't have Catapults yet. And no one wanted that Kerensky thing because reasons.
OH WAIT WE DO / WE DID. Nice to see people who willingly bounce their reality checks just to come to PGIs defense.

Its not even a jumping Dragon. It's a post Jenny Craig humanoid type Catapult - no more and no less.

Not knowing where we are going has a real impact on the metagame. If I take an LRM Stalker and I get Canyons or River City, I am in a less-than-ideal situation without really good support from my team. Similarly, if I take a 3x ERPPC Awesome and get Caustic, I'm in a less-than-ideal situation where I would have preferred to bring a different mech. If I take an AS7-D with an AC20 and SRMs and get dropped into Alpine, things are going to be rough.
Beyond that, are we ever going to see an improvement to the advanced zoom PIP? I have spent a lot of energy defending PGI and the state of this game, having started playing it on the first day of closed beta, but the fact that some of these issues still exist is very frustrating to me.
Seriously, I think you should reconsider your armament and your tactics!
