As a whole I would say this month was a bit disappointing, from Ask the devs to the creative update. Only cool news is the phoenix package, because it has mechs that I really wanted to see. The delay of CW and 12v12 really killed the buzz I had at the beginning of the month. That and the tight lips policy PGI recently developed is getting old really fast. SRMs are still broke after 3 months, hit detection is still crap, and last November was the time they stopped just to fix the bugs. Irony here is that with SRMs being broken, the High Alpha pin-point builds have no competition, SRMs are the AC/20 and Gauss of the light and medium mech world. Funny how one grossly overdue hotfix throws the game out of balance completely.

Krolmir, excellent post, its what ive been saying since they nerfed srm's. They are so dominant because thers no real pay off in getting in close and terring up the boats with lazor fire and srm's.
Realy liked the pod cast all, keep em up ill be cheking them all out.

i find this quite ironic seeing as I was telling people that SRMs were trash tier as soon as they were nerfed and people have been **** talking me for months about it

Wat? Who? Everyone's known SRM's are pretty junk ever since the nerf. I've never seen anyone seriously argue otherwise*

They're usable now, but not good weapons by any stretch of the imagination. Low overall damage, spread out. They're better than nothing if you've got tonnage and slots free, but they're simply not dangerous weapons right now. This is not news for anyone.

Proof: How many SRM6 splatcats do you see? :)


* Other than the "I do fine with them" crowd who don't understand how Elo works - you can do fine with ANY weapons if you give it a bit of time

Quite a few actually. I don't know what is the point of these updates if they don't stick to them. And there will probably be no patch on the 2nd.

it also said the 12v12 would be on test server not live so don't get so rushed anyway

Yea from what i remember the dev's said that they will be internally testing 12vs12
as in patch it in On the 2nd/Second then continue to test without actually putting it out yet
