figure I might as well throw my vote in for Oceanic/SE Asian servers, lag and timezone differences are what turned me off WoT.

Another proud Aussie here. Hope to see an Oceanic server. Not just Australians playing but many others in the oceanic region.

I don't see why not.

Having a broad net of servers would encourage community growth around the globe and bring different communities together under the umbrella of incredible mechs beating the snot out of each other.

And lag would kill this kind of game for those customers, additional servers are the way to go.

iagree

Being in NZ, big supporter of this idea... 300+ ping can realy ruin some games.

I'm also not the only one in NZ inersting in playing this.

if it doesnt happen at launch it may as well not happen at all.

no-ones going to want to spend all that time leveling a character then have to start again on a new server from zero.

WOT is losing soo many players from oceania they obvously don't need the money and/or don't care about the player base.

They (WoT) don't care.

I think they are incapable of making reasonable decisions, except by accident, then they'll patch it.

I'd rather keep as much of the community together as possible, not fragment it over different timezones.

Oceanic servers are the way to go!

Maybe not right at the start, give us time to convert our friends and family then once our numbers are high, give us free transfers to the 'newly created' oceanic server, just like SWTOR did.

voted yes got my support, i play a lot of online games and lag is a real killer in a lot of them while i manage on us servers games with oceanic servers (i.e proper oceanic servers with servers located here not bassed in the americas) allows some real shine to come through. I will say that I will play the game oceanic server or not but prefrence is definetly for an oceanic server.

Gotta say I'm in favour of Oceanic based servers as well, will have a hard time convincing my friends to even try the game if its gonna be lagging the entire time, let alone how it would impact on my game experiences constantly sitting at 300+ms.

Hi all, the dev's stated during the recent twitter chat that there will be regional servers. I guess we won't know where the servers will be until at the game goes live. Fingers crossed for a Australian based location...though I think it will be located more in our northern neighbors. Only time will tell.
