I've been seeing a fair amount of head damage on this thing. PPC boats can consistently hit a head and put it down, even while torso twisting.

Though it's not near as much a problem as some others that were introduced like the Jagermech somewhat recently. Still could use a slight reduction.

Edit: I should also mention that it looks great and is a very fun mech.

its way too tall. I dont know a 60 ton mech is as tall as a 90 ton mech.
that is a massive disadvantage especially since the 60 tonner has significantly lower armor cap. Legs way too easy to core
plus it just looks wrong.

but good job with the custom mesh.
the custom arm PPC with holster is especially impressive.

Agile: I am enjoying the speed and JJ agility. Still trying to get a handle this mech's play style.

Too big: This mech has everybit of the volume and height of a 90T Highlander. I find that I am prioritized as a target like an assault mech. That stinks for an speedy lightly armored that is at the bottom of that the heavy tier.

Jump Jets don't show an animation

Hit boxes are screwed - I got shot in the back and it destroyed the outer armor on the front of my center torso.

Is anybody else seeing this problem?

I saw a QuickDraw lose a leg in a match, and as it limped around it would occasionally warp/rubberband out of place. I don't know what the actual pilot of the mech was seeing, but from my perspective, as his opponent, I kept shooting at him only to have him magically teleport several feet forward in the direction he was limping.

It's a good alternative for a Catapult, that has the disadvantage with it's extremely large arms. It's mobile, agile and relatively sturdy when on Standard engines. Unfortunately, right now is just unreasonably large. In fact, larger than a Cataphract, which is considerably heavier. The proportions and visual redesign is good, but overall scale goes closer to Heavy/Assault borderline, rather than Medium/Heavy.

Scale it down a bit, make arms and legs slightly thinner and it will be perfect in my opinion.

I agree, it feels too large to be a 60ton heavy mech, scale it down please :P

-Mechs too big for 60 tons. Jesus its huge
-I love how the 4G is obviously garbage compared to the other two and its only there to waste peoples time and make them fulfill the stupid 3 variant requirement for the pilot tree skills
-its an okay mech, just like the dragon, but also like the dragon it will only be useful in any way if we someday have weight based drops that arent full of PPC and Gauss boating assault/heavy mechs

So, right now? Its garbage.

Maybe some day a year from now when we have actual balanced weight drops and no PPC boats? Sort of okay I guess.

Confirmed. I saw the same with limping QD in the Frozen City.

QKD-5K could hardly be called even good. The only more or less viable build I've found is 4LL one.
Verdict: save your C-Bills for something else.

Currently on the 5K in my QKD mastery progression, and it's really not too bad. I just basically made an Ostroc 3C and then made minor changes.

Jumpjet-animation is missing... why did no one recognize this?

You would think with all this discussion about adding 3rd person, but that would be missed. Then again, there's the mechlab listing.

This is simply sloppy, even by the mediocrity that we normally get.

Is this a bug or what?? I can mount 80 units of armour in the CT of my 4H.
That's more than a Highlander??

I have the 4G and 5K and am enjoying them both.

However, like many previous post, the mech is WAY to big.

It felt way to tall in-cockpit as well, and I swear I was looking down on a Highlander when fighting it.

80 units of armor is the standard for a 60 tonne mech. Dragon can mount the same amount.
Catapult & Jagermech - 84
Cataphract - 88
Awesome - 100
Stalker - 108
Highlander can mount 116 points of armor in the CT

Please make it a little smaller.

It is definitely too big, almost as big as the atlas, which weighs about 40 tons more!

Hitboxes are screwy. Took 4 PPCs to the front and got cored out in the back plus a bit of internal dmg. I headshotted a Quick draw while it was running away from me. I was getting hit with LRMs without AMS and got hit in the legs only

I had nearly the same problem yesterday... was running towards a Highlander that shot 3 PPCs into my center torso but the damage was transfered to the rear torso.
Very strange... in one round I also got headshotted by lasers while moving... usually this would be very uncommon.

The hitboxes are overlapping, aren't they? 3 PPCs to intact front CT armor took out my rear armor and my reactor. Apart from this, fun to play and pretty tough ba$terd.

It has no statistics per variant - at least my three quickdraws do not show up there.
