HOWEVER, I will reiterate, that just as we've seen with these Unseen, the only thing stopping them from appearing is making new art for them, and PGI's decision to include the chassis (which, this type of decision is largely based on whether or not a chassis tonnage/hardpoint configuration is redundant with another design that is already planned). Don't use the contested art and there is no problem.
Oh, I totally understand that. I will also point out back in 11' when they first started this they never said Harmony Gold was a issue. Just the last 2 years they haven't said yes or no to doing Unseen, which was really frustrating to me. So this really came out of left field and people were saying back then to make them 'Gold Mechs' because people would buy them. It is really cool that PGI is making 4 variants and not making them Champion mechs only when these things really are Golden Eggs. The only thing that really surprised me was that they didn't do the /really/ popular heavy mechs first (Marader or Warhammer would have made this a slam dunk IMO). So it makes me wonder if anything was mentioned about doing them. I did see in the first couple of pages that someone made the point that none of these mechs are the Robotech mechs, so it still could be an issue. Just have to wait and see.

Hey, dumbass....you don't like it, don't buy it. Plain and simply. Move the **** on...how you can get so bent out of shape about this is beyond me. No one is forcing anyone to do anything, ffs.
Anyway, I do have a question...is it possible to buy 2 of these packages?? 2 Overlords for example on one account?

If they made a Clan Founder's Program, it will be called a money-grab. When they sell anything, it will be called a money-grab. So I think we can all agree to just call all MC-related transactions and all direct-sales events as "Money Grabs." Trial-by-Fire sale? Money grab. Hero Mech sales? Money Grabs. We get it - they are asking for money.
What I really do like about the Project Phoenix Money Grab is how much stuff you get for the cash compared to the typical in-game prices. There's a thread where WolvesX broke the pricing down. The $80 Package gets you 32,850 MC worth of measurable stuff + an additional
Operation Phoenix seems interesting price/content wise, I'm not arguing.
I'll quote someone posting about MWO on gamespot.com forum :
"First thing you notice is the game interface. It looks like is made for advertising and social media not a mech game interface."
Just watch the game main page, 4 slides, all of them are advertisings. I never saw that on any other major MMO beta.
According to me, the problem is : so many resources devoted on hero mechs, paint, camo, customisation etc while at the same time the CORE GAME is still at SKELETON stage.
Come on PGI, the development is soo slow. Game is lacking so much content to be really interesting for the non hardcore fannboy. I'm not even talking about the gui, balance, in game voice etc.
Priority should be creating all the community warfare system. We have enough mechs and maps.
Damn, I had more fun with the defunct multiplayer battetech 3025 beta : a meaning for each match is a great way to keep a player motivated.
Unless you already consider MWO being a niche game with a very limited player base consisted mostly by fans willing to spend money on regular base. In this case, you should make the game subscription based like Eve Online, another niche game.
It would also be a waste for the franchise, but well...

It's worth noting that these are no longer unseen or even reseen as they are once again official part of the battletech universe due to the rights to use them have been reaquired. This also goes for the Wolverine and the Griffin. So there are no legal rights issues at all to include these mechs, but that is not true for the other unseen.
Also note that that while a lot of things can seem resonably safe so is the US legal system not the most reliable one and even minor legal risks are too be avoided.

It can totally dance!
Ah yes. The Victor Music Industries art designs. Introducing the Funkiest Mechs in Human Space! Strutting their stuff in clubs and discos from Terra to Strana Mechty with the smoothest moves this side of Tukkayid! Ladies and gentlemen, you've already seen the style of the Shadow Hawk! Now marvel at the perferct pose of the Phoenix Hawk!

The grace of the Griffin!

And the riveting Rifleman!

You think you can match the moves of these mechs on the dancefloor? Think again!
Yeah. VMI chose some rather distinctive poses for their art in the 3055 TR, to put it mildly.

They are probably roughly the same size in that image as to not lose any details on either of the Mechs. If they were in scale, it'd be hard to see the Locust at all.

I reckon I can get about a hundred mil before October the 15th. Currently on about 20,000 cbills...

Make this purchasable with MC (20,000 MC), or add an option that includes MC ($100 package with overlord + 5,000 MC). Basically I like bundled deals, ti makes me feel like I'm getting the most for my dollar and if I knew I could spend MC on promotions like this I wouldn't hesitate to keep my MC bank flush.
Or if this promotion included some MC I'd feel like I didn't have to decide between buying Project Phoenix or buying MC for hero mechs.
This may sound like a silly request, but either one of those choices would make me feel like i'm getting a bargain, and of course the upside for you is you are getting $100 instead of $80 (and I am getting MC which I need for GXP with my mechs)
