"Today (Thursday) is the last day to buy a Project Phoenix package with the bonus early-bird Premium Time. You will still be able to buy Project Phoenix in August; an end date has not been announced"
So at least I have more time to decide if this game goes in a direction that I want to spend another $80 bucks on it. Dont care about the bonus 30 days, still have 92 days unactivated from founders, so I would rather wait and see what happens.

Thanks for the Phoenix Pack, I purchased the overlord pack since its a win-win for me, I get some cool stuff, some mechs other people thought would never make it, so now I get to say "i told you so", and I get to support your efforts for creating the Mechwarrior game that you didn't have to make. And since game production doesn't run on hopes and dreams, but on manpower and resources like money I happily gave you $80 for the package I did not have to buy but genuinely wanted to. So again thanks for the time and effort, I anxiously await to see the content when it launches.
its pathetic to see all of the entitled ******* that are whining on this thread, get a job you bums, be grateful they even made the damn game, they didn't have to. go outside, quit being a BÛTTHURT-ragefest neckbeard and do some overtime to afford it if you want it that bad but think $80 is too steep. or better yet, shut up and dont buy it and let the rest of us enjoy it.

I am enjoying my refund, and having my name immortalized alongside yours as a fellow Legendary Backer.

UIs it possible to use lower tier emblems, or do I have to decide between Mechs or logos?

Apalling, giving how the game has actually been backsliding in terms of game balance and game play value/fun factor (not too mention failing to keep up with your own promised following of the timeline.
Oh, whats that you say? Good news for us mega-founders from the last pre-pruchase?? If you fork out another $80 we can get a special cockpit airfreshener........for realios?
Would have been far classier and more professional to give existing founders the 'new' founders rewards, and let newer players Buy the Phoenix Project, to join with us exisiting founders as supporters of the game.
Oh well, not this grizzled old pilot, I know a (money) trap when I see one.

No, They are asking you to pay $80 to get one-of-a-kind project pheonix mechs that will not be available to non-cash paying cutomers and they are throwing ina few bonuses as well.
But I understand there are some founders who think becasue they became founders that they should get 'ALL-TEH-SHINEY' for nothing, because they were a founder .. amirite?
And wasn't the max package for the Founders program only $120, not $200+ ???

The Founder's Program was for up to four unique Founder's-only 'mechs, a forum badge, Premium Time, and a bundle of discounted MC (also name in the credits of the launched game if you got the Legendary Founder).
We got all that (except for the name in credits, b/c this game hasn't launched yet). No one else is getting what the Founder's got.
These are complete separate packages. You can buy them now for the special Phoenix variants, but if you don't get them while the promotion is running, no one else will ever get those special Phoenix variants again.
The existence of Phoenix packages or any future packages does not devalue the previous packages. Founder's aren't any "less special" just because there is now a Phoenix package. They either have the Phoenix package or they don't. People that never bought into the Founder's program while it was running will never have the chance to be a Founder again.

If you are now saying that Clan tech will not be available before February of 2014, you are saying that launch has been delayed *again*. If Clan tech will be available before that, then these mechs are worthless and you're selling us junk.
Please clarify your intentions before trying to milk more money from your loyal fans.
I would also like to know when Clan tech will be available in the game, but I think you are kind of dropping it here by calling these mechs "worthless junk".
I am pretty sure there will be balancing when clan tech comes and I can certainly say for myself that I can't wait to be able to blast people out of their clan mechs using my inner sphere builds.
I am having fun so far in this game and if it takes until summer 2014 to get the clans coming into the game in a fashion that does not break the balance...*cough*...*cough*...well so be it.
You just got to be patient dude.
