Actually it's $80 for 12 virtual robots. Yes, that still might be too much for some and that's fine, value is generally derived from a personal level. In this case, 4 of those 12 also confer hero mech type bonuses as well, making it a pretty solid purchase taking into consideration the $ value of typical hero mechs, let alone their standard variants.
Yeah, I didn't think it that way. But, the thing is that usually you get a whole new game for that sum of money. That is an AAA complete title quality level price tag, I mean. Just saying.

Considering that the last 3 "AAA" titles I bought were buggy to the point of unplayable... I can see your point though.
In case you are wondering the last ones I bought were:
Assassins Creed (Jolly Jack's review is pretty spot on - though I never could get through even the prologue area)
Batman Arkham City (I keep getting shot through buildings)
Pokemon Diamond
Out of the three, Diamond was the least buggy - and I know I got a weird copy, cause I hang around a lot of Pokemon players, and none of theirs have the bugs mine do - sent my copy back to Nintendo, they sent me another, same bugs though.
In the end I tend to avoid "AAA" titles though - they do not seem to like me

The battlemaster PPC mounting hand held dealy always seems weird but interesting to me. I was always interested in the way that the weapon was implied to be detachable or as some people house ruled it, swappable from hand to hand. At any rate, though its not visible in the art now, i do intend to make the energy mount for the PPC look like it has quick release mounting brackets on it, even if they don't really do anything.
What happened to this Alex? On the concepts the primary arm energy weapon is mounted low, inline with the palm of the mechs, but the released Battlemaster has a block on its arm where the gun comes out. This ain't no quick release battlemaster gun.

Position at the time? obviously there was a problem when it came to model it.

Maybe a dagger package with the wasp and stinger.
Maybe the Ostxxx mechs as a package.

I had the same idea for the "Dagger" Reiforcement Package, but was too lazy to make it with the "Scimitar".
About the Marauder II, there aren't 3 variants... (or another Unseen Assault mech to add together)
And the Osts... well, no one will miss them.

Oh, come on Odanan. I'm sure there must be _someone_ out there with fond memories of piloting a 3050 era Ostscout.

I never liked them, the names (WTF is Ost?), looks (they are like mech's abortions) and even stats.

"Ost" refers to the in-game "corporation" that makes these mechs, Ostmann Industries. They name all their 'mechs Ost-XXX the same way Apple stamps an "i-" in front of everything nowadays.
