I'm always surprised by all the fan love the Urbie gets.

Its as ugly as it is awesome.

I give it a big do want.

The devs seem to be doing slight redesigns of the mechs. There's no reason it has to stay a walking trashcan. It could be upgraded to a walking recycle bin, a stylish garbage receptacle, a resolute dumpster, a noble and free wastepaper basket. Its kingly profile striding forward towards victory!

The Urbie just brings peace into this cruel universe. Its like the "My little Pony" of the Mechwarrior universe. I would get one, pet it, bath it, take it for a walk in the park and teach him some amazing tricks!

I'd rock and Urbie in a second. It's a lot like me... short, fat, ugly, and able to beat you to death. :)

Am I remembering incorrectly, or was its movement 2/3/2?

I think most of the people that are against the Urbie have never seen one used correctly.

There are two things that urbies do REALLY REALLY well. They tear up light mechs that have only medium range weapons, and they are great as an ambush asset.

If they're focusing on urban combat WHY would they exclude the Urbanmech?

You remember correctly. You'd really need to use those jump jets!

Brixx, you must paint up 6 urbies in the following colors: white, yellow, pink, purple, sky blue, and orange!

It needs to be in there. Keep it as Ol' Reliable, the ever-ready mech that's there for you even when you are down on your luck.

I'd see it more as a high efficiency washing machine.

Pilot could look out the window.

How about the good ol'fashioned metal door on the trash bin? Pilot as to flip it up to see out...

Blo*dy he*l, this is going to become my shtick, isn't it?
I erased the antennae because they looked silly coming through the hat. Also, I got to make my own sombrero, because every picture I found on Google completely covered up the viewports on the Urbie if they were actually going to look like they were on it, and I at least wanted to make it look like something a mildly insane pilot could put on his 'Mech if he was drunk - and stupid - enough :)

^HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO THAT?
