Try changing the default device used by Mumble for audio playback; you can do that in the configurations menu under the configurations tab; make sure to enable the checkbox labeled 'Advanced' to the lower left of the configuration menu.
You're able to select another playback device in one of the menus which should appear once that option is enabled.

If 'Realtek HD Audio output' is one of the available devices, it should be selected.

Just chiming in support from Jade Wolf, although we've become an endangered species recently. Although I suspect that's true for a majority of RHoD units.

This kind of thing is completely necessary. We've all had too much fun and once invested so much time in this game for it to be completely railroaded to the graveyard by (possibly) well-intentioned developers I couldn't make this Town Hall but if there's another, I'll be sure to show.

Keep up the good work guys. Try and get as much of the community involved as possible.

One thing nobody has brought up is that the TT is based on 10 second intervals....Let's examine energy... Take the PPC (sniper weapon?) Sure, it does 10 damage, but don't let it fire again for another 10 seconds (per TT). Maybe the LL can shoot 2 times during that 10 seconds, but damage is appropriately reduced (ie, it does 5 damage, so you go 2.5/ shot). The upshot being that the power weapons take forever to reload, and that gives brawlers time to close in, and gives low damage, high DPS a chance to shine.

Please, by all means, sign. No one really cares if you don't play, because quite a bit of the convo was all about how to make it so that people want to play.

I got rejected in my opportunity to shout, but one thing is that PGI is not doing enough to play with balance and weapon values.

We can be adjusting a lot of things -- projectile speed, recycle time, splash damage, etc, but do nothing.

Weapons can be far more unique and interesting, but game mechanics deny it.

Thanks, but since that's how it was worded, I'll let it be.

I only want to say that what would make me play is hearing from the top players that the game won't become excessively narrow as I get better.

Good Luck folks, I hate to see such a rich franchise go down the tubes. Personally I haven't played enough to zero in on any particular gripes. I left the game because I always died too quickly and never felt like an asset to my team. Yes I'm a bad player but I never felt like I was going to get any better.

I would most certainly look at 7/8 second recycle time PPCs and Gauss. If mech health was higher, you could more easily afford a much slower firing high damage weapon.
