Regardless of assumptions and arguements aside, I do believe that opening up VoiP in this game will lead to a lot of verbal abuse and my guess would be this is why PGI has not put any effort in making is so.
They 'assume''theorize' whatever, that if the teams are serious, they will use third party software.
However, this should not stop them from enhancing features in game to allow for quicker, select-able, commands that include some of the basics we see in other games (I really like the circular context command wheels I have seen in other games).
Something along the lines of when you have someone selected you can hit quick keys or right click and select various options.
But, from a casual perspective, it would only take one arsehat to cause me to mute the line unless they build in a select-able mute feature.
If they did this, I would change my mind about VoiP in game.
Isn't selectible a word? Selectable; weird.
Oh, and P.S. yes, I would vote for a pre-made queue and a PUG queue (at least the first 25-100 games maybe).
a serious gamer would not mind separating these queues as competitive, serious players would not want the indignation of having an easy mode. Or is this just an assumption as well?
