Not sure how asking for a refund on something you are not satisfied with is being childish. People ask for refunds all the time if they are not satisfied with something.

Maybe, but the majority of players also has balance concerns. But you are right. BT and MW are indeed fantasy games, but especially MW:O is a fantasy game founded with real people's real money.

Thank you PGI 3rd person is wonderful just a few things I noticed R-L movement is a little slow still and where is the key for a 360 view around your mech? unless I just cant find it to look at the front of my mech?.

Everyone bough MC...virtual money to be spent on mechs/megchbays/deco etc. You got what you paid for. You did not preorder a game, which changed by release. So the "PGI lied to us" argument is invalid.

I'm gonna stick around a bit longer, to see where the game goes. Wonder how many more f*ckups will PGI manage to pull off, and after that ignore the voice of the masses.. or "vocal minority" as they call us.

I understand that I paid A LOT of money into this game and I am not looking for a refund. I am actually hoping that a large number of people have a good deal of fun with it. I am deeply unhappy with the 3PV being unavoidable for me. It destroys immersion with the indestructible blinky floaty thing. I hate it with a deep passion beyond any simple advantage/disadvantage metric. I was relieved when PGI stated that there would be separate options for 3PV/1PV drops. It helped make my decision on my Overlord package. It will be a sad day for me (quickly approaching) when I am too unhappy with the game to play it any more or so upset that I have to encourage any of my friends who have not yet started playing to avoid the game like the plague. I am not a fan of "poisoning the well" but I feel that PGI is almost trolling a big portion of the player base.

How is it dumb? If they even got 1000 tickets saying, we want a refund it will show PGI that they messed up. 1000 x $5/month x 12 months=$60k lost in potential

I feel that the maturity level of the player base has nose dived drastically.

After testing 3rd person first hand and having played actual matches against people using it I have to say I really do not care anymore what PGI does about it.

No minimap and Lancestatus + crosshair bumping + low camera position + drone that makes me well visible and trackable beyond normal visual range = 3rd Person no option for me to play in ever.

In fact I am thankful for every poor victim that highlights his position through the drone so I can snipe his *** into the ground with my PPC and Gauss shot from 1st person. As far as looking around corners goes I have to say that seismic has a much further reaching impact than that.

So all in all PGI were actually successful in creating a third person view that works fine for getting a better feeling of what you legs and torso do but at the same time does not have the feared tactical advantage over 1st Person. Once you know how to handle your mech 1st Person clearly is the much better perspective to play in.

But to be honest that never was my most pressing problem with it anyways. I still think the effort made and the controvers in and with the community caused were not worth it. I am really curious to see number in a view months on how many people really use 3d person view on a constant basis as their main playing perspective.

PGI says this, no one cares. Go to a bank, request a chargeback, watch PGI helplessly wail and gnash teeth because they do not dictate the terms of a chargeback.

You do realise that you paid for MC which you got. You did not preorder an unreleased game. You got the MC...spent it, and used the thigs you got for it.

It's beta.

Which means as the product has not been released yet, no one has taken delivery of any of their pre-orders, whether that's in the form of Founders/Phoenix, or direct MC purchases.

PS: again, i mean, like everything PGI does, even 3rd view is broken, there is really no advantage...
