They are very organised, so we have to start to prepare for the goonswarm merc groups when they start their push into Draconis Combine Space.

Really??? another Thread about Goonswarm... OKay they are not the Boogieman that lives under your Bed they are just people like anyone else that want to have fun in the game.

I have played on Teams against and with them in SWTOR and other games most of them are very cool people and they aren't the unbeatable force everyone makes them out to be.

If Teams use Team work and aren't OMZ I R THE BEAST PLAYERZ EVER I DUN NEED TEAM MATES!!! or just down right Terribad players you will see that there not some unstoppable force of super human Monkey Mutants the community makes them out to be..

Also the chances that you will even get in to a Pre-made match of all Goonswarm are not that high with all the battles and matches that will be going on...

If i was you i would be more worried about House Steiner on your Boarder :)

Also for your viewing pleasure i found some top Secert Goonswarm Video of the Super Monkey Hybrid members in action

These shenanigans are patently ridiculous. Goonswarm wasn't a problem in Eve either. So they have a club. Whoop-de-doo, let them drink their kool-aid and just ignore it.

The only people worried about Goonswarm are those with the unfortunate hubris of being too stupid not to antagonize them and not good enough to beat them, which also falls under stupid. Don't be stupid. Stupid is a trap.

Kurita might do well to look to their history books, should it be an advantage against the Goons they seek.

There is a dark power out there somewhere, waiting to be harnessed, should any man be fool enough to try to tame it.

Yes, I speak of that certain videogame-loving German, smasher of the very face of Lowtax, and bringer of pain to anybody fool enough to witness one of his movies.

..but is there anybody here desperate enough to draw the attention of Uwe Boll to the Battletech universe? Where exactly do the rights to a motion picture adaptation lay?

Trolling can be improved upon, but bad posting never goes away. Oh wait, yes it does - stop posting.

Unlike the ones of your comrade, those 1317 likes I have weren't achieved for trash talking someone a group of people dislikes and likes every stupidity thrown his way. :)

These are all words, but I'm buggered if that's a sentence.

I could read it. Perhaps you need to go brush up on your reading comprehension.

Oh thanks, maybe you can tutor me! Can you translate the back half into proper English, because I'm totally lost here, teacher.

Ok, let's break the gibberish down then

"likes I have weren't achieved for"

So explain to me how to parse this pile of garbage right here. Those six words alone are an appalling bastardisation of English, even without the context of the rest of the sentence.

"trash talking someone a group of people dislikes and likes every stupidity thrown his way"

Firstly, that's not how you use the word "stupidity", as it's not a ********* noun. Secondly... you know what, I can't believe I'm even bothering to try and explain to you why this is a bad sentence. I really can't. If you can look at that thing in it's entirety and be happy that you've read something that was written by someone with a basic understanding of verbs, nouns and tenses then fine.

Oh, hold on, forgot the last bit:

" ;)"

The passive-aggressive smiley at the end of a sentence for NO REASON WHATSOEVER.

American talking about the bastardisation of English language. ;)

But really, telling something in a different language and then just directly translating the words leaves this kind of gibberish. It's quite useful when you don't really want the reader to focus on the attacking part and only care about the grammar part of your sentences.

Yeah some people just gotta be grammar nazis. If you couldnt figure out that sentence you wrote you gotta be a 3rd grade esl student. But let em hate, its making me laugh. And lets not forget our passive aggressive smiley! ;)

I dont know how much you can break it down if you couldnt understand it. Roughly, "unlike your "likes", mine were not gotten by attacking people whom other forum users already dislike. Also, unlike yourself, I dont "like" every stupid comment I see."

pretty simple. Again, perhaps you need to go back to 3rd grade esl. (Unless you are not a native english speaker, in whhich case you're already esl. Sorry if I was insulting yesterday (and today for that matter) was a crfappy day.

I'm not American, but thanks for assuming.

And I have literally no idea what you're trying to convey in that second sentence. Are you saying you didn't want people to understand that you were attacking someone or that I'm deliberately ignoring your attack and focussing on the grammar? Because I completely agree with the latter, I absolutely was.

It's mildly amusing to watch people try and attack the Gewns here, not realizing they've already trained Forum Trolling and Forum Troll Detection to V.

Why do people keep saying this? Our reputation for "zerging" in EVE was a product of the game environment. Plenty of goons are quite skilled at internet Spaceships/Tanks/Robots. However, in EVE players progress and gain "XP" at a set rate, thus new players have to wait weeks or months before they can step in that shiny new battleship or Tier 2 interceptor or whatever. So in the mean time they're stuck in a crappy little Rifter (man I love Rifters).

These days there is as much quality (ship and characterwise) as quantity in Goons in EVE.

For a better example, please consult the World of Tanks Clan Wars leaderboards. There you will probably see the two main Goon Clans, No Dumb Pubs [NDP]and Stug Lyfe [SGLE]. As of this post NDP occupies first place on two of the three Top 10 rankings (in 5th in the third) while Stug Lyfe is in 3rd, 6th, and 8th on the three top 10 boards.

World of Tanks is 15vs15 matches and "mass' does not apply there. Mechwarrior Online will be FAR more similar to WoT than EVE, so that is really where you should look to see what Goons in MWO will be like.

[edited to fix some really stupid typing errors]

Congrats on being the best "clan" in WoT. but again this game will be split into clans, and houses... so you might be the best, clan... but your might as a clan will never match the might of an entire house.

The greater the enemy, the greater the victory. I hope the "goons" bring the pain, more fun for me.

As for the Drac. Comb. what happens happens. I won't be shedding any tears if they get zerg'd on an interplanetary level.
