Purchased. Jump capable Centurion? All I wanted for Christmas.

Please put the money toward hiring a competent marketing or executive team who understand that communication is key and updates like the September Developer update just **** people off and make veteran whales take off in the deluded view that there might be another MechWarrior game someday if this crashes and burns. You want this to succeed, and so do we. I'll keep investing, but the game can't run on a few die-hard white knights. When Odannan is tired of your bullsh*t, it's time to reevaluate.

Dealing with MWO is alot like breaking up, you both know the other one is there, and given the chance it's still fun to hang out, but you can't allow yourself to have any expectations at all or you're going to get disappointed again.

So take the package for what it's worth, if you want the mechs, drop the cash, if you don't want them, don't drop the cash. Just stop with the super passioned responses from both sides, in the never endless loop of regret and bitterness. She doesn't love you, won't change much, and you can either accept it or move on, by staying here you only make it awkward for everyone else, and embarrassing for yourself.

One is paid and the other is not. If you would like more thinking done for you, don't hesitate to pm me. But please keep it under five a day.

Are you freaking serious?

The management of PGI routinely trolls their own customers (badly) and now we get a staff member posting this {Scrap} as their first post. What exactly do you think this accomplishes? How is this supposed to help anything??

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the PGI upper management team:

Maruader - uses a somewhat thicker version of the cataphract legs and a catapult upper. The arms would be a cross between the cataphract and awesome.

This is one of FD's early concepts that he scribbled on a napkin or something one day just messing around.

I think PGI could take this as a framework and modify it here and there until it was acceptable to the people at HG then incorporate it into a pack. This is a pack that I would even cut back on purchasing "the good stuff" scotch, moving to the "meh not so good stuff", in order to afford. Hell I might even go so far as to get the "that should have come in a cardboard box" stuff to have my Marauder.

That's a good concept, but the Marauder arms should be very similar to the Cataphract right arm, because it the CTF right arm is supposed to be MAD spare parts. Same goes w/the legs versus CTF legs.

Bought.

Now, to see the Phoenix $$$ in action. Overlord + Saber = starting to look like old-school BT, and I like that.

If only we could rewind to 3026...

People complain that a business hasn't entierly delivered on their promises; understandable and logical.
People complain that a business tries to sell their products to their target audience; flipping burders at McSocialism is in your future.

I think i might let go of a kidney for that. Seriously; i would like show support by buying some packages; but the Marauder is a prerequisite for that - the current PP just doesn't tickle my fancy enough. Get this bad boy in, and i'll shell serious money out for him alone if need be. To be honest, i prefer Alex' Reseen to the original... It's a bit more clunky, feels more in line with the BT design.

Marauder / Vulture. I'll just throw my wallet at you then, take what you like. ;)

Basically, all you´re saying here is that you have an axe to grind, regardless of objectivity or truthfulness. I.E., you´re gonna spread "lies" yourself.

I just will give my opinion about PGI/IGP PR and credibility. I may install MWO again to see if it still unbalanced, if the promised features are live, etc. Just facts.

TBH I'm not convinced by the sabre pack. Yes the mechs look great visually but looking at their hardpoints I don't see them great as performers in game. Everything in the right side of the griffin really concerns me, never mind a single energy slot in the wolverines head ;)

Since I've got the phoenix pack then I'll have a shadowhawk for a 55 ton option, I don't see enough in the sabre mechs or variants to say "these are the ones you should be getting".

My concern with all these mechs is they aren't even the best variants they could have chosen for either phoenix or sabre packs. If they are only doing three variants per chassis they should have chosen the ones that are as different as possible.

I'd also have like to see another heavy done as an option

-Other than the paint job, there's no modeling differences between the Sabre and C-Bill mechs that I can see, unlike the original 4 Phoenix mechs.

Agree with everything but this. I know you said "that i can see" but look at their shoulders. Wolvie has a tab sticking off the top (not huge i know) and the Griff has a bow inward toward the top of the plate. (again not huge.)

So there is a, while very subtle, difference. Just fyi.

this has probably been posted throughout this thread already, but it's hard to navigate around some of the people screaming and whining how pgi is the devil and has summoned cthulhu and all that ****. Anyways, me and my unit would like to know:
1 What the end date for this event is
2 Is there a possibility for any other events coming up soon. If you guys make another package in ten days, we'd like to know a little about it
3 Does this mean that we can start seeing two mechs a month soon? As these will be in game while the phoenix mechs are still being released.
4 I cannot stress enough how necessary any updates as to the big features such as CW and UI 2.0 are. A few of us made a deal of no phoenix until one of the main patches we were waiting for was going ingame, and we kept our deal when you added 12v12. Just doing test servers of 2.0 and such would give a huge boost in our faith with you guys, and would ensure more success on your sales.
For some reason some people think that charging anything for a game is evil, luckily most of us understand that your 40 such staff has to eat things to keep making this game. That being said, we are much more willing to shell out cookies when you follow through with features. I hope that we will be surprised with new stuff at launch, but barring any other evidence we will wait at least until then.

I'm not totally convinced.
The game is not in a proper state, the developers made some bad decisions and the communication is ... - really not satisfactory. And the CBill-nerf made premium time and hero mechs less precious.

Also, two additonal medium mechs, similar to the SDH? While the WVR and GRF are both iconical of the BT universe, the hardpoint decision of PGI hurts them now. I have three Cents, BJs and one HBK (as well as 3 SDH when Overlord comes), do I really need such similar mechs? *

Time will tell and I will kept my wallet closed - for the moment. Give me some progress (and more Cbills) and I will purchase the package.

* First CBill nerf and now these mechs. The Kintaro will definitely be skipped now. Together with the mechbays and camos... Without the CBill nerf I had purchased one Kintaro last week... Better luck with your target audience, PGI.
