Wow if that's what the Orion looks like I will say well done! Time to get back to making the ingame models look good again as quality has been lacking.
Ridiculous paint job IMO. Kerensky "The Protector" was in an SLDF Army Green mech just like all the others. At least that image made it easy for me to decide whether or not to buy it.
Although If I recolored it with the base green, took out the yellow and red made them black and white...
MAYBE.
As for people crying about the PPC and Gauss Nerf, I'm not convinced their "useless" now, they're certainly less uber, but they're still the best sniping weapons in the game.

Seems that nobody has said anything about this, which baffles me. I've forever been saying that you need to make SRM4's and especially SRM2's a viable option for SRM6's. The time is now! Wonderful job on the recycle times. Strapping on 4xSRM2 is now a real option.
On the matter of PPC's, just yesterday I ran my K2 a bit using 2 ER PPC's and 1 Gauss having very little heat issues. It still has been an OP combo even in close combat. So the nerfs to snipe weapons are good. Now snipe with them. Wanna brawl, get some brawl weapons.

While I appreciate that they nerfed it, doing all three (Gauss, PPC, and ERPPC) in the same patch means we still won't really know what the root cause was. We can continue to guess it was reduced PPC heat, but it might have been velocity. Who knows anymore. Long live the King.
Nerfed? They will have to do better than that. If you really want to nerf certain weapons/play-styles to the to the ground, then nerf the players who are good at it, because despite the nerf, they are going to find a way around it. With that in mind, they will also send loads of tears from the recipients to your front desk giving you more unnecessary work on your plate to handle.

But it could have been worse. At least the Gauss nerf was (partly) compensated by the velocity increase.
I also like heat increase and velo decrease of the (ER)PPC, but the '0' for minimum range of PPC is a bit too harsh. I'd prefer if the damage was scaled down from 90-30m, with '0' damage from 30m-0m (or something similar).
Hero Mechs looks nice. Orion finally. Thanks.
HSR, sounds good.
Advanced Zoom. Let's see.
Now increase Cbill rewards (or double Premium time/ Hero boni) and saber package will be ordered.
Let the spice - errr.... money - flow!

The PPC nerfs I especially feel like went a bit far, but we'll see.
Can't wait to try out the changes though!

Back then we had no HSR so the problem with PPC's was that you simply couldn't hit with them. What we have now is same heat, still more speed than then and HSR. These PPC's we have are a huge deal better than in closed beta even after this patch.
