I mean, it's not like you couldn't have come up with something to make it look like big launch event, like some some fancy cockpit items or... I dunno, another challenge with nice MC rewards?
Seriously, this launch patch has so little to do with actually transitioning from beta to launched that I see no other explanation than either a lack of will on PGI's side or some kinda passive aggressive attack at IGP for a horrible launch date.

Game is better today t han yesterday.
PLEASE keep doing 4 champion mechs. Including at least one with jump jets.
Forever. Gigantic improvement to new player experience.
UACs better, still think ac and uac 5s should be 1.25 second recycle.
I would raise the jam time by 0.5-1.0 seconds rather than raise jam chance if further weakening is needed.
And I think the ac 20 will then need a 5 second recycle, and then all acs should be viable.
But this is good, nerf o uac and buff to ac 2.
As long as 12 man's don't have 3 pv, 3pv doesn't realy affec game balance. God change.
Bug fxes good.
My lack of spending on camos and colors speaks for itelf.
My failure to buy any more mechs at my current rate of cbill acqisition will also speak for itself.
Dissapointed in the lack of anything really special for launch.
Even though I was well aware that ui 2.0 and community warfare will not be here before dec.
Really hope they are by xmas so I can get my friends to try it then.
(Double cbilll week wouldhave been awesome. :-). Would have sold me a mechbay).

Launch should have been UI2.0 and Community Warfare phase 1.

AC/2 Nerf next. I really don't support this, the rest is good, UAC/5 nerf was important (not the nerf, but that it is now equal with the AC/5).
