Im still rooting that all people who attend the launch party have access to restricted clanmechs and my targeting system switches frantically between "Marauder" and "Catapult" at my next drop...

Good lord, how many people are still hung up on this? 24 mechs = 12 versus 12 it has nothing to do with the number of available mechs in the game.

So, all of the "We can't talk about launch because there are some things we are keeping under wraps for release" talk was just a ruse/code for "Didn't wanna p*** you guys off too much about the release info, so here's a carrot at the end of a stick!"?

PGI, I thought you guys were repeatedly staving off questions in anticipation for an information bonanza at release?? Instead we just get more bad news (with admittedly a bit of good thrown in). UI2.0 and many other important features are delayed until 2014, maps are coming out every other month, CW 2014.
HOWEVER, very good to hear about the semi-monthly patches, as long as you guys keep up with that...this game is going somewhere positive. There better be TONS of gameplay balance changes in every single one of those patches, seeing as how we really need them. The game is finally in a fun and playable state, but we have a ways to go before it's truly balanced.

EDIT: Oh, and they still haven't fixed hit detection or the economy, have they? Sigh. Better change my signature in a couple hours, since it was just a silly little pipedream of rational expectations from PGI...

Im more amazed that they just announced that all the planned features have been pushed back to next year and no one seems to notice.

Everyone was expecting ui 2.0 to be right around the corner and now it is a feature for next year?

Wow.. just... what the hell are you doing with your time pgi?
