I think you've misunderstood the situation, a lot of previous players don't think there is a future for MWO, myself included. When the devs don't really care about what the community is asking for and instead call them the vocal minority, there's no turning back.

Not at all, some of us can only be disappointed so many times before giving up and stop believing in all the plans presented by the devs that are never fulfilled. Your thinking we need to change our minds doesn't change that fact.
These posts showcase what many of us can not understand: If you are all soooo ultimately disappointed and feel that there is no future for MWO, then why are you still here apparently wasting your time and effort?
Or is it really just a case of "I used to love her, then I left her, now I`m going to kill her because I still love her after all and can`tj ust admit it becasue that would make me look weak?"
I mean no disrespect, I truly am trying to understand why people that supposedly "love BT" have been doing everything in their power for months to kill the only chance the IP currently has at commercial videogame success, and yet they still say they love BT in all shapes and forms... It strikes me as analagous to saying "I love all dogs, but I absolutely hate german shepherds and need toi kill them with fire"

from 0.0 - 5.2 in under 24 hours despite the attempted torpedoing is not half bad IMO....
