So basically Boar's Head is a pay to win Atlas-RS that makes the Atlas-RS completely obsolete.

You Fatlas Pilots finally get some love. Thing looks like a monster. Have fun with it because I am going to be shooting the {Scrap} out of it if possible.

Yeah and can you tell me who use RS over D-DC?

I don't really care for Atlases, but as an Assault guy I'm in just on general principle. Also, the RS is my favorite Atlas variant and this one looks to be a better RS.

Why didn't they just add Danielle's Atlas.. its the same exact friggin thing except the lrm and ac/20 are switched to the right spots.

Do they have legal reasons now for not adding canon custom Mechs? I want my Poke-Mech Collectibles!

Besides, piloting Danielle's Wolf Dragoon Mech would be way awesomer, especially with their paint schemes and unit symbols.

The image might be a flip. If you take it and flip it says PIG on his hand.

Ballistic and missile in each side torso would have been way cooler.

I would have preferred the "Filthpig" atlas, driven by legendary mechwarrior Al Jourgensen.

And P2W since NO Assault Mech so far has 2 ballistic slots in different locations.

No way they'd allow an AC/40 Atlas.

What. Pay to win. Pfft. If you've blown up one atlas you blown them all up. Saying pay to win when it comes to mechs is just silly.

I feel PGI it's hesitant to release a big ballistic Assault specially when it means a large part of the Tryhards will go for the 2x Ac 20 without drawbacks mech.

Still i'm curious for the exact ballistic and missile hardpoints in the torsos but y expect 1of each total

I very rarely say anything as to what is going on in this game because i love this game :P

....with that being said...

instead of giving us another IS 100t mech ( ... oh IDK, the Fafnir maybe) they hero up a founders mech......

..... still going to buy it (when it goes on sale)...

just kinda gets me how greedy PGI is getting

Just sayin...

Go spend it on a $110.00 Hornet not even out game called Star Citizen along with a $5.00 poster and $10.00 guns. Or you can always get the $40.00 Nightmare from Neverwinter that runs you down the road. You do have options you know.

Eh now theres no reason to use an RS at all. This thing is outright better. Its arguably even better than a D-DC.

Not really. Tanks that use gold ammo in WoT can still be killed by tanks that dont use gold ammo, it doesnt mean gold ammo isnt pay to win. Pay to win is whenever paying gives you an advantage you wouldnt get from not paying. This hero Atlas is outright better than an RS. That is pay to win.

It may not be an extreme case, but thats not the point, the point is if players allow it, PGI will continue pushing the limits of pay to win.

Nah in last ATD Pgi said they going to use the 3-4 months of advantge fom Phoenix to fully develop and test the upcoming Clan mechs.

So it's far easier to develop hero mech for already existing chassis, specially when ppl asked a lot of times for hero mechs for founder chassis
