That’s the number of alpha strikes before auto shutdown assuming you fire everything, let all weapons cool down, immediately fire them again, and repeat.

For that 16.4 value, I’m guessing it also lists your heat efficiency at somewhere over 70%. This mech might be OVER cooling, so you absolutely do not need any skill points in heat for this guy.

Good thinking, and I appreciate the advice, but actually - no! It's X-pulse fit, so the cooling is in the 30s.

And yeah, if I used my brain I'd have realized it can't be the total damage. Thanks for clearing it up for me!

How did MechDB get a DPS of 1.0 for the machine gun? The damage reads 0.1 and a cooldown of 0. Did they just use a placeholder.

Machine Gun fires ten 0.1 damage projectiles in one second and that results in 1 point of damage/second total.

Cooldown "0" means that your unlocked Cooldown skills will not make your Machine Guns fire faster.

not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but can anyone hazard a guess as to why the Nvidia GeForce Experience app is telling me that my optimal settings are mostly Medium (I currently have the mostly on very high) when I have an RTX 3080ti video card? but it is also telling me that my resolution should be 3840x2160....

You are nerfing excessive damage (in your view) if I can do it I should be able to do it.

Nope, but you can get a 250 point alpha with them. With a minimum range. Blast that Warhawk at under 50m away and all those rockets do nothing, leaving only a tickle from your other weapons.

nVidia likes to use higher resolutions and scale them down - I wouldn't do that with MWO. Mechwarrior Online is based on a really old, and highly-modified version of CryEngine. Use the settings you're using now if they work for you.

Is there anything that is an guaranteed absolute 100% counter to missile locks? Had a game in my Mad Dog with ATMs where almost everyone was targetable but could not get missile locks, not just a slow lock mind you, the circles would never even appear. Even when marked with a TAG and sometimes even inside my Active Probe range. They showed no ECM icons and the TAG icon would never appear even when in open LOS and the laser visibly hitting their mechs.

No, there's nothing like that. If you can target them, you should be able to missile lock. Has the issue recurred?

If something like that happens, record the match ID and send it to support with whatever screenshots you can manage.
